I had to pause it after that intro. I'm so jealous of your French lol. My goal is to be more confident when speaking and of course to be fluent. I'll be moving to France one day! 🙏🏾

Congratulations! This is a huge accomplishment! I am so happy for you! I am actually thinking of writing the first draft of my master's thesis in Pairs next summer. If I do I will most likely be there for 3 months, at least that's the current plan. I am looking into short term rentals but can't book anything until January 2018 it all depends on securing a place at a decent rate. If I am there while you are we will have to grab a bite. You will also have to give me the break down on all the cool local things to do.

thanks alexander! that would be magnifique, i hope you make it there.

This is AMAZING Congratulations!! How is it going? I am thinking on applying as well but I am so worried, I want to go to Colombia and do the English teacher assistant. So scared to even reach out to the advisor of my school
@ScholarNoire6 жыл бұрын
thank you! it's going really well. don't be afraid! i can do a video on this! the advisor is a conduit for your dreams, their job is to help you. if they are unhelpful, find someone else who is.go for it!

Omg congratulations!!!! That's so exciting! Was this your first time applying? I heard that you can apply for a Fulbright once as an undergrad and once as an actual grad student. I'm about to finish up my last semester as an undergrad in the fall and I was thinking about applying. Also, how was the process of putting together your research proposal? And did you mention your KZbin channel as an additional aspect of being a researcher?
@ScholarNoire7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Shawnee! Yes it's my first time - I'm not 100% sure what the application rules are for grad/undergrad. I will talk about the process of my proposal in another video -- and nope I didn't mention the KZbin channel :) If you want it, go for it!

Would also like to know if you could do a video about which program you are doing, and what the requirements are. Do you have to be a PhD student or be studying at a graduate level? Also I guess I would love some advice on how you got to this point. I have a bachelor's degree but am looking to get a PhD in a really competitive field so I'm loving your channel.

i am doing a Ph.D in sociology - every program is different, so I suggest you look at potential schools' website or my video "4 essential skills you need". You don't need to be a Ph.D or grad student to win a Fulbright grant, check out the website for requirements. thanks for watching!

Hi, I love your blog! I am planning on applying for a Fulbright my senior year and was wondering if you had to do a ton of extracurriculars and leadership experience to stand out as an applicant?
