U take me back when Sanyo was the brand of Music appliances Sony was now coquring the Market space, Kenwood,Aiwa, Toshiba...music was real spending dime on weekend was affordable and lots of Southern Music was selling around whole of Africa....in Kenya we had a program called Urtna which was broadcasting music from the whole continent from Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles..Nigeria,Zaire at that time not DRC as today is called, Cameroon,Ghana,Mali,Senegal,Tanzania etc.etc

It brings back childhood memories. I recorded this song on my VHS cassette while watching Ziyaduma. We used to be glued on TV on Fridays and Pat Shange was like R Kelly of umzansi back in the days. It's a pity that few people reminisce on these artists and their music whereas in the US they forever honour their legends, dead or alive.
