I'm a little confused: (1) MC says he was invited to play by other children at the beginning of his school days, only their parents were weirdly against it, but MC felt fine because he still had his closet friend. This suggests that his parents summoned this closet friend before he started school. Why? Why not give him a chance at making friends at school first? (2) Besides lifelong friendship at the cost of any other healthy relationship, what other benefits does closet friend bring? Just trying to understand why someone would summon the dude. (3) Why were the other parents giving MC weird glares when their kids asked to play with him? What/why would they know about it?

??? Criticizing something is not "hating" on it. The story had a lot of plot holes and some characters choices didn't really made sense. Listening to things and just loving everything without any critical thinking is pretty much just as stupid as hating on everything. Constructive criticism is ALWAYS worth listening to and people have a right to dislike something and express that, just as long as they're not rude and impolite in doing so.

Hey Capie! Thanks for the comment. I'm very against censoring, BUT on this issue I definitely agree to a large extent. I don't think it was necessary to the story, and if I recall with this one, I was too far in once I read that to back out. I really appreciate the honestly and kind words, and going forward I'm either going to avoid those types of stories or edit it out, unless it is 100percent crucial to the story. But I frankly think that is very rare. I appreciate the comment! Edit: I just remembered fully what story you're talking about. Believe it or not, I actually edited out a few things already from that story. It was very gruesome and I edited out some of the more horrifying things. But still, I agree. I'm grateful for the author's permission to use the story (and I enjoyed it overall), but I was definitely turned off by the excessive gore. -LH
