THANK GOD! A story that's not rules. This was so goof, you rrally need to do more of them; way more enjoyable than the regurgitated slop that is story based stories. Some are good, but dear lord do they get old fast

All those subconscious things your mind juggles with, even when focusing. Old memories, family and friends gossip, all the things that make you, you. I can feel a heavy pressure on my extremities as I twist, and relax those muscles, those heavy muscles. I feel a tickling, and my arm swings towards it.... their sneaky attempt, but I don't have complete control, have they succeeded, was I injured? No time to worry now, and I have no idea if working on my muscles will help but, I have woken up before with unresponsive limbs, and I'm just hoping this is similar enough, it can keep me alive.

Rules for exploring a new cave: 1 tell someone where you are going, when to expect you back and when to send rescue. 2 don't go alone or unprepared. 3 don't question the "mud" on the cave floor. 4 bats are the most likely vector for rabies in North America, if one bites you, get the shot. 5 If you hear something big moving around, back away and leave NOW.

I don’t like how everyone is hating on the “rules” story’s. Personally they are my favorite but a little diversity is always good❤

Not to stir a frenzy, but in my opinion and it's simply an opinion is what sets Lighthouse apart from other narrative creators on this platform. I love the stories with rules when they're done by him, you, lighthouse. You're emotional storytelling and the descriptive suspense building.... It's perfection. Yes, it's nice to have variety but honestly... Lighthouse and the rule stories .... No one can do it like you. Bringing light to the fundamentals of why keepers of the supernatural world exist... How to survive and remain sane in the insanity beyond comprehension. Blessings be onto you, Light. Cheers. Sage of Sacred Light Ps. I would love to collaborate on a story sometime. Just because you 'can' doesn't mean you 'should', but just because you 'can't doesn't mean you shouldn't.- Moonphyre

Honestly I think I would have stayed... I used to do commercial pest control, I worked for one of the big multinational companies in the commercial division so I did businesses hospitals factories warehouses storefronts national parks schools and everything in between, very rarely did I do private houses which I preferred because I didn't like going into people's private spaces... I did have to do apartment buildings and condos which I didn't care for because that was going into people's personal space and I will tell you now there is nothing filthier than a bunch of female college students lol I ran into a lot of creepy stuff and places on that job but I actually quite enjoyed it, I even started pinning my own series of spooky stories based off that job. A lot of people think of pest control jobs is disgusting or bottom of the barrel but I actually quite enjoyed it, we weren't spray and pray outfit we actually endeavored to solve problems and you had to think on your feet and it was usually something new everyday and you had to think outside the box all the time... I had an absolutely huge territory spanning east to west from Daytona Beach to cedar key here in Florida and right up to the state line from Fernandina Beach even way out west of live oak. Only had to go into the shop once a week to pick up chemicals and supplies unless there was something special going on and I really did enjoy it.

Awesome story, I was hoping it would be something other then a cross or silver that saved him. Like maybe they're not just extraordinarily allergic to sunlight but ALL light where even a flashlight or for our friends across the pond a torch would burn their skin! That would have been awesome! 😊

When you are too busy and tired to listen to lighthouse, then the holiday finally settles, you have two whole episodes to listen to..one over an hour long. Who needs Santa when you have Lighthouse! Thank you and happy holidays

Great story. I had a “friend” experience something similar many years ago. Since “he”was smart enough to know that he would never be believed and couldn’t in good conscience just do nothing, “he” was also smart enough to know that fire cleanses all. Luckily for “him”, setting up a Lair in an abandoned Tobacco warehouse isn’t a very smart move and made for ending this particular threat a quick and relatively easy task to complete.

Good story and narration... but this would have been a much shorter story with me. NARRATOR: "Let me tell you about my scariest story exploring caves: I went into this giant cavern and there were FOUR boxes that looked like coffins arranged beside each other..." LISTENER: "What were they?!" NARRATOR: "I have NO IDEA, I noped right out of there and still wonder to this day..."
