That's crazy how scary this game can still be after 10 years. The silence at the beginning was a good way to set the tension you wouldve felt during all your walkthrough. I miss the fear and anxiety this game delivers, too bad SOTF is not as unsettling

I like Sons Of The Forest a lot better than The Forest, but I have to admit, the build up at the beginning is better in The Forest. Sons Of The Forest doesn’t really have a build up, you encounter enemies day 1 and they jump at you or attack you. The Forest had a kinda lonely feel, you felt alone but also felt like you’re being watched.

OMG I'm so happy you're playing the Forest!!! This is amazing. We have to admit that building and graphics are much, much better in SOF, but this is nostalgic nevertheless. I've played this game for so long I never need a map. Thank you for playing this.
