If it's what I think it is then I am so happy for you. My 19 year old cat passed in October and left a massive hole in my life. I have re homed a 1 year old cat 🐱 from a charity who is learning to trust us and has brought so much joy even if it's like having a toddler wrecking the house. Happy Christmas Jo. Love you xxx

So excited to meet your new companion! My dad, a dog lover through and through, always said the only way to move beyond the grief of losing a dog was to get another one. No dog will ever replace Matilda but a new dog will bring energy and adventure and help you heal. You are doing the right thing Jo. All my best wishes!

Best vlog you have done - one thing you said really resonated with me; I have cats and they keep me calm - just their presence even if they’re sleeping. I hadn’t really realised that before until you said it out loud. Your bond with Matilda was and still is amazing and reminds me of the bond I have with my cats. I live alone and I agree, it’s inspiring to see how you live your full life and live alone. Living alone doesn’t mean you’re lonely and I don’t think people realise that. We left it 19 years before getting another dog due to family commitments. But once we brought a puppy home it felt right. The only thing I will say, training a puppy as a 65 year old was harder. Up down, up down, in out.....in out. BUT so worth the love and cuddles.🐕 x
