Hannah we are in this video! My partner and I travelled to London from Denmark for a week of festive fun. I am Canadian and he is Danish. We watched tons of your videos before going. You do a great job. We took your advice and arrived at Harrods when it opened. You’re right - it got busy quickly but we loved the food hall. We are so sorry we didn’t “see” you to say thank you in person for your awesome content. I’ve been coming to London since the mid-70’s but hadn’t been during Christmas. We had a great time and made even better by the info in your videos. We were so surprised when we watched this video and saw ourselves in it. What fun! Enjoy your Christmas and hopefully we’ll meet to say “thank you” someday.

I used to fly for PanAm and frequented London on my flights ( seven day trip); we stayed at the Sheraton Park Towers and the best part was a stroll over to Harrods food halls! I could have stayed there all day! Such a thrill to see it again - it is the very BESt in the world for delicious foods, the cheeses, the meats, and most of all the confections! I miss it - so, Thank you!

Christmas window displays at 1:06. The shops in Beverly Hills and New York still do similar window displays. In Toronto back in the 1960s and 1970s they used to have animated toy window displays in the windows of Eaton's, The Bay, and Simpson's department stores. As kids we loved it.

I remember in London when I was little looking out from the bus in the 70’s/80’s at the lovely window displays with animated toys etc during Christmas, now it can be a bit more like a commercial, but it’s still magical, when the lights and decorations are in the streets as well!

Great videos. I was so close to visiting London at one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit this city :). All the best for Christmas.

You're in USA right? Food here is so much more expensive sadly. Sourdough from a home baker though is going to be expensive. It's a labor of love. As a side note I was in Harrod's recently and was shocked at the food prices being so reasonable! Compare prices to specialty shops here in America and everything here is much pricier. Everything looked incredible at Harrod's 😋

Years ago the food halls (there used to be 5 rooms) would have hams and game hanging from the ceiling in the meat Hall and the famous seafood display is now much depleted. They would supply the 'upstairs downstairs' houses of Knightsbridge and beyond. The Harrods delivery warehouse still stands on Sloane Avenue but is no longer used by Harrods. These days they get by with gift food and small takeaway items.

I was there 1996 a week before Christmas, in London that is. And we did a lot of shopping, I bought some chocolats at Harrods and a small plush doggie and had it gift wrapped for my neighbor kid, she played with the doggie for years and used the giftbix as a jewelry box. The box was so beautiful, best 7 pounds I've spend that trip. The doggie was 10 pounds. We also went to see the Christmas musical Scrooge, with Anthony Newley playing Scrooge it was a magical trip😊❤🎄🎅
