Rick could easily start building specialty bikes for people with deep pockets. There's no better job than the one you love doing, and if he can line up enough well-to-do clients, he can make a very good living building bikes just like this one.

Go Polska! Thank you Rick Vork. That was a pro quality build for sure. I hope that someone at Honda sees this video so they can see the possibilities. I think that if Honda brought back 2 strokes into production, they would sell all of them. The look great, sound great, and cost at least $2k less than the 4 strokes. We need another manufacturer to start producing 2 strokes again... especially if KTM does not survive restructuring.

I'm a Yamaha guy, first bike was a Yamaha PW50 and been racing YZ250's since '05. But as a teen I bought an 89 CR125. That bike was great. 3 of my buddies had 98-00 RM125's and they couldn't touch my bike on a straight. Could wheelie in every gear in the sand on the CR but the RM's could barely wheelie in 5th in the sand. Hate honda 4-strokes but love their 2-strokes.....just not as much as Yamaha's

Say's yes to me. The less 2 strokes we see and more 4 strokes we have lost something as as a X racer the expense of a 4 stroke is ridiculous but also the fun a 2 stroke gives and have raced many KTM SX bikes but this build is very nice and yes there is a business there as it looks like Honda built it.

Why did Honda,Suzuki and kawi stop making them ? I know emissions reasons is one. The yz’s is basically still built off like a 06 era bike and they’ve not changed it much at all. Ktm I know has gone through many changes over the years to comply with emissions and stuff

With todays tech, why dont they just mass produce big bore or stroker kits to any bikes with cnc machines etc? Would be cool to make a +2mm stroker crank for almost everything and have only minor mods needed to fit the cranks. Also big bore kits for all old and newer bikes, learner enduro and racing bikes. I own a 1991 dt125r since 2003 and would love some stroker crank for it (without needing crank machining and mismatching drive gears) like the dt200 stroker builds have) I would be cool with taking 0,5mm off my crankcase and fitting a 52-54mm crank instead of the 57mm one everyone uses. There is a bike called TZM150 from Yamaha sold in foreign countries and that crank have correct dimensions other than the case but I can't find measurements 🥲

Cool project and glad the guy got to build the bike he wanted, but putting a KTM engine in a Honda frame is nothing like what a modern day Honda 2 stroke would be like 😂😂. I know guys who build Frankenstein hot rods, Ford body's, Chevy engines. But they don't claim it's how Ford would build a good car if they did it today.😂 They just say look at my cool hotrod.

I gotta ask. Why the love for honda? Yea they made some good 2 strokes at one time, but they dont anymore. Its like buying gifts for an ex girlfriend, many things were once great but no longer are. Idk, i see it as like free marketing for honda. He spent a lot to advertise for honda. Perhaps its because im not brand loyal, i ride bikes from manufacturers who are manufacturing things i like. What is honda doing to earn this loyalty?

Blame it on Yamaha that had convinced the AMA to allow 4 strokes into motocross racing that eventually led to part of the reason for preference for 4 strokes. And and other part was the Californias restrictions on 2 strokes. As someone that had the pleasure of owning a 2 stroke Honda 80R in the 80's there is just something especially about a 2 stroke bike.
@someoneyouknow962 күн бұрын
@@evoman44 correct. Didnt Doug Henry win the first race on the yz400m? All provided by "experts" using bad science. I hope the E bikes don't get in on bad science either. No one wants to listen to RC bikes in the stands. Bunch of qu€€rs riding those things.

As motos ficam muito boas!!! Chamamos os projetos feitos assim de IMPORTADA MIX. Quem tiver curiosidade a respeito é so pesquisar aqui no KZbin!
