​@@aishipal857 Hua Cheng is Xie Lian's husband and it's canon as they get together in the last novel. Also I don't remember which novel it was but there is a mention about a pregnancy pill that allows men to get pregnant. So Mu Qing and Feng Xin believed that Xie Lian took the pill in order to have kids with his husband despite the fact that they have been in love with each other for over 800 years. Furthermore, Hua Cheng will never make Xie Lian do something against his own will. At the minimum, he will take out his very own eye again or at worst he will die for the 4th or 5th time (I don't remember how many times he has died for Xie Lian and Xie Lian alone), but it will take him years to be able to come back again before he dares to upset or hurt a single stran of hair. Also he will not hesitate to hurt others even Xie Lian's friends if it means to keep him safe because let's face it Xie Lian has the most bad luck in the whole wide world. He was literally stabbed over 100 times (died over 100 times), have his parents kill, watch his kingdom fall, have his beloved and last believer (Hua Cheng) kill right in front of him, have his friends abandoned him, and let's not forget about the first coffin scene (he was trapped in there for 100 years many miles underneath the ground with a steck in his heart re-dying and feeling the pain every single moment and the one to put him there was his student for over a misunderstanding). And this is just some of Xie Lian's bad luck during the first 400 or 500 years maybe less and that's not counting the other 400 years after and he is over 800 years old. So in conclusion, Hua Cheng will never hurt Xie Lian.

I do recommend watching Kictor's KZbin videos as she also explains on this topic just search up 'explaining the entire plot of TGCF to my friend'. Also, another thing I forgot to mention, there is a reason why Mu Qing and Feng Xin hate Hua Cheng. It's because all 4 of them (Xie Lian being the 4th one) were from the kingdom of Xianle. Xie Lian is a prince and Mu Qing and Feng Xin were his servants, bodyguards, and friends. When the kingdom fell, Mu Qing was the first to leave following Feng Xin after the 100 stab scene (Xie Lian never told him about it). Hua Cheng only knew about it because he was there when it happened. It broke Xie Lian in ways we have never seen before but it was understandable with what he went through. When Hua Cheng died for the 3rd or 4th time, it took a few years for him to be able to have a body again and when he did, he went to find resources and power to use to find him. However, because of Xie Lian's bad luck it would take him centuries to be able to find him again. Furthermore, Hua Cheng knew of the departure of Mu Qing and Feng Xin and hated them for leaving Xie Lian behind in a depressing time when he needed someone by his side. While Mu Qing and Feng Xin not only hate Hua Cheng but they hate themselves even more for not being able to stand by Xie Lian's and believe they aren't worthy enough to be next to him even though Xie Lian has forgiven them.
