No, you just need to force yourself to get over it and move on a quick as possible. Life is too short. All the good men get taken quick. Your eggs are dieing as you get older. Time is ticking. My advice is get over is fast, forgive fast, and don't carry that baggage with you in the next relationship. It's not another man's problem. Everyone is different and it's not a man's responsibility to fix a woman. It's yourself that is responsible for you.

Back in the 80s and 90s, in Japan, they went through stages. When I met my girlfriend, they were in the Italian guy phase and she thought that I was Italian and the guy she had just broke up with was Italian. The next phase was the hip-hop / black guy phase and it was a fashion statement to have a black boyfriend or girlfriend, so this is what opened the doors to black people in Japan. I was living there through this whole transition and saw the change like a crowd doing the wave.

I do think cultural differences play a huge role in dating. When I first found Jina on KZbin I couldn’t believe that she was born and raised in Korea cus of how openly expressive and progressive she is in life and dating. Although recently it’s starting to change, Korea is still very culturally homogenous and emphasize the collective “norm” more than individual expression (which is more emphasized in Western culture). There are a lot of heteronormative behavioural expectations for dating in Korea, and I honestly think they’re too rigid for someone who is as unapologetically, authentically herself as Jina. I really do think you should move abroad. I think you’ll have the best of times. ♥️♥️

I LOVE the messages: notice patterns of behavior in the same environment of people, work on yourself first and be the light. Each country and person finds beauty in different things, and you will inevitably increase the positive nature of your interactions by truly doing the work in yourself mentally, physically and spiritually. It's been an experiment of mine for s year of intensive study and new social environment to support such changes, it's hard work and we are each worth self development efforts.

I think that you should totally go abroad (when things return to “normal”). Not just to meet guys... although I’m sure that will happen too. But to learn more about yourself. When you spend your entire life in the same places, surrounded by people who think the same way, and only experience one culture it’s hard to imagine a different way of living. Also, I think that experiencing other cultures first hand can help us to see the strengths and weaknesses of our own culture more clearly. I’ve been thinking about moving to another country myself to expand my understanding of not only the world, but also of who I am and what is important to me. It’s a scary step and most people end up not doing it, but I think you can gain a lot if you are able to take that step. But that’s just my opinion. I’m sure you will figure out what is best for you. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

in all your relationships you are the common denominator. i noticed that you heavily rely on other people's opinions too much and that fuels your low self-esteem problem even more. you should find a way to not care about other people's feelings and opinions and focus improving on yourself. i did that and i have been happy ever since. dealing with your issues instead of running away to another country should be your first priority.

I think Mike got the point. You could analyze more about where you found all these guys. If you keep meeting the wrong one, probably you should change the environment (not necessarily countries). You could learn something new that you always wants to. There you might meet someone nice. But it really doesn’t matter if you don’t because you are doing stuff you like. Jina, you are a beautiful person! Don't ever put your happiness in the hands of anyone else. Whether you are with someone or not. Just keep living your life for yourself and keep improving on yourself. I think your friends are right that it's better not to rush things and just take it slow by really getting to know someone before you get into a relationship. Like if I knew a guy for a while and ONLY then he gave me flowers, I can take it as a cue that he could be interested for real. Cause anyone can do anything at anytime but HOW they do it really matters. And let time pass so that you can know for sure he actually likes you! If you are looking for a more serious relationship, I highly recommend this. Although in the end, it can really depends on the person itself, this is a more safer and assuring method. Just get out there in different activities around your neighborhood for YOURSELF first. Something which you would genuinely love doing or learning. If you emit happiness from the inside, you will attract like minded people! Again, focus on loving yourself. Don't worry, do your thing, everything will eventually fall in place!!

Give it a bit more time or like the guy said, ask where do you think this is going? Is kissing on a 4th date forward?!? My 4 yr relationship started with a one night stand...well that was the intention lol...somehow it morphed into friends with benefits and then evolved into a relationship. Many friends have started relationships like that...I didn’t realize kissing was considered forward. For the record, before people start with negative comments, that was in college.

Jina i totally understand. In sweden people dont even "date".. we say that we "hang out". It is very confusing because i never know if we are friends or if he is interested. Like it has happened that i was hanging out with a male friend, whom i thought was just a friend, and then i suddenly got kissed.. shocked is the word.. I like when people are straight forward and say "hey, im interested in you", so that i KNOW. It is exhausting to go around guessing. But also i seldom get romantically interested in others haha. Thats why i kind of like the way koreans seem to date. Like after a few dates decide like "what are we even doing". In sweden it feels like that if you say that you are boyfriend/girlfriend the guy thinks like "OMG im not ready to get married". Like we are just dating, i dont want to marry you. I just want to know if you like me and i want to get to know you better.
@justeve91224 жыл бұрын
Dating doesn't exist anymore🤣Where Im from, you hang out,and then things happen 🤷♀️We even made a joke about it:It was easier before, you hold hands-its considered a relationship. Now,you give birth to his children and still wonder if he's serious about it. Also,2 dates are more than enough to know If you wanna date someone. The one who says he needs more time-is just tryna play you

Some information on dating terms in North America and some parts of Europe if you need it (probably already know this) In America, it’s common for people to do what some may call a texting dance You don’t want to look desperate because that could be a red flag for a controlling abusive personality. so you pace yourself and if they don’t text back for a few hours you’re supposed to assume they have an important task or are taking care of their friendships/families or themselves and be respectfully grateful for that. However ghosting is also common which if anyone doesn’t know it’s where you don’t tell someone you’re uninterested and just kind of drop off the face of the internet or social circle, or if the person is very uncaring, they post photos of them having a really good time with other people. You as the ghosted can’t really say anything because if you loved them you should be happy for them. A common saying is “if you love him/her/them let them go” Ghosting is different from bread-crumbing where you stop contact with a few exceptions such as a birthday, a holiday or a bad day so you pity them, they write a heartfelt note and then just go silent or give one worded answers. Like leaving bread crumbs to a starving animal. they won’t leave because your feeding them and by the time your done they’ve been starved and can barely move on Both of these usually happen after lovebombing where the person shows lots of affection and says all the right things to get you hooked on them. *Lovebombing* can happen when a potential partner wants to pump and dump (when you pretend to be interested in a relationship just to use someone for sexual gratification and possibly an ego boost. The ego boost being from how they got to have sex with someone who wanted a stable relationship and didn’t have to commit to anything long term. These scumbags usually brag about it after. It is especially scummy because there’s entire “dating” apps that are designed specifically to commitment free one night stands that both parties agree to, and yet they desire to prey on innocent people who are expecting to find their life partner. Plenty of men are attracted to women who know what they want and say it. However those men usually are secure in their masculinity and don’t feel they have to prove anything by having affairs with someone they view as weaker and more vulnerable. That type of man can be hard to come by in more conservative countries and will generally be more emotionally free. These masculine secure men are prone to crying more and telling people when something is wrong. This is healthy even if conservative women aren’t attracted to it. It’s also common for both partners to split the bill in a relationship, take turns paying on dates, or pay for themselves.

It was interesting hearing your story. If you would have asked me out after just 4 dates I would be confused too. The reason is that I would feel like you don’t know me good enough by now. I would think that you are insecure and that the reason you want to close the deal after a short amount of time . I don’t know if you get it (because my english kinda broken) but I hope I can help you out in some way 😅 His reaction was still not okay do.

Jina you are a beautiful human inside and outside and its OK if you ask him out first if he was really interested in you he should have make you understand that it's too early or something like that but he was just pretending to be a perfect boyfriend but no one is perfect it's good that you asked him and got to know his real self it's like a filter you will get your true love soon and remember if someone love you he will never loose a connection or never leave you like this my good wishes and prayers are you Jina❤️ stay happy 😊

Oh Rachel and Jina you both are beautiful and awesome from inside and out😍😍😍😍. You ladies are amazing!!! I understand that even in my case I find it very hard to find my dream guy. Coz I am very independent, strong and straight forward. Most of the men get intimidated by independent ladies. Don't worry loves. You all will find your Prince one day💞💞💞💞. There's nothing wrong about you sweety. You two are doing a good job. Keep it up ladies!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Hi Gina, I think Mike was right to the point of where and how you find those guys, I agree with him. You don't go to a club to find a good guy, because they themselves.. won't be there. Try to change your pattern, I wish you the best luck!

i totally get you girl. i think Mike was right in his description of where you are looking for guys. i think the problem was when you described him as perfect. if you didn't think he was the "perfect" guy his behavior may not have been as surprising. don't give up. but also if you are interested in moving to another country than do it. yes you'll meet news guys but you'd have an adventure and how fun would that be.

Speaking honestly here... if a woman asked me out in the way she asked the guy, i would have been sooo flattered but also flustered as its never happened😂, but then i think the other thing I’d do is say “I’m honestly off guard here but lets see how it goes”

Really cool video. In some way I agree with Jina. Seeing her she looks more extrovert than most Korean women. In western cultures being extrovert is usually a positive socially, so she could have more guys interested in her in other countries.

For some reason it's true what my grandmother said: "Never ask the man out or show him feelings". Even guys say they love it, actually they always escape if you do it. I act even unfriendly to guys and they chase me as crazy... with 29 I was proposed probably more than 34 times ... So Jina, act cool, live ur life to the fullest, do your lovely work and the right one will come! Or more probably many will chase you ... Probably the dude you are mentioning is not even worth of ur attention and am sure he will come back of you completely ignore him... Plus in Germany or France you would be a star !

Jina, you are beautiful and I really understand you. I think you did right asking him to be your boyfriend. Don't feel bad and thanks God because he ghosted, this was just a sign he doesn't deserves you. In Brazil, men(most of them) usually ask a girl out and says right away if they like her or not. It is not common to ghost here. At least until now I didn't see it happen to anyone I know. You have a very westernized mind it is not a surprise that you feel the need to go abroad. I think international couples have challenges, but the most part is more like an always learning environment, never boring. Don't forget Jina: the universe will bring the right person to you. Stay safe and follow your heart, Jina!

Omg mike confirming Jina was attractive was so funny! That was the least objectifying way of checking out a girl I’ve ever seen lol love mike lmao 😂. Atleast where I’m from people don’t define relationships for a long time, you can be seeing someone for months without being official.

I think some people are intimidated by outspoken honest people who say what they really think. Men in general like to think that everything is their idea. As soon as they feel like they are being pushed, they bolt. I also think that really open honest people attract people who want to exploit that- e.g. people who aren't honest!! All best to you Jina xxx
