Ruckus is one of those guys where I do not understand why I love him so much, but I am more excited to get him than Studio Series 86 Optimus. Don't even get me started on how much I squealed over Squeezeplay.

Bludgeon is nice the early comic design is done well with this mold. Ruckus is a big deluxe but the torso definitely needs some of that silver or gunmetal paint, the buggy is great super enjoyable.

Beachcomber was always available on Amazon - Canada wide and preorders were up for quite a while by the time I got mine at release. Distribution sucked for sure, but it was there for a couple months.

Fun fact, those 2 line details on the front of the arms are incorrect detailing. The sculptor likely used incorrect photos when doing it, as those details on the toy were meant for the waist, and there's a bunch of pics namely from Seibertron that have those stickers placed on the arms. Funny detail and it is odd, but ngl I don't know how they'd actually be on the waist considering how small it is. Looks like someone took a presure thing and compressed his sides

I really like this pack, it's the best version of Bludgeon for sure. I agree with Toy Guy on everything he's said about Ruckus. I'm going to have to do something about the tan sections, they feel really naked.

I have this set coming in the mail, my main draw was actually the Bludgeon because the version this is inspired by was also one of my first introductions to the character and is also my favorite look for him. I do wish this design got it's own mold though, I think that would've been way cooler but if this is the only way we get this look I'm content enough.

I've got mixed feelings on Tarn. On the one hand, this is easily the coolest-looking version yet, and my collection is really short on good green figures. Also, no transparent parts! But also: The parts that were formerly transparent are now poorly fitting, at least on mine. It feels like they shrank, like, 5% while cooling. Just enough to infuriatingly barely not quite fit properly in vehicle mode.

Damn, they took out the slider joint in torso from Beachcomber mold tranformation, that's a bummer. I REALLY liked that step on the original Beachcomber, it kept his tranformation from being bland, despite it overall simplicity. Yeah, this remold is kinda mid.

My biggest issue with rukus is his legs. It's cool they made him taller, but they look unnaturally long compared to the arms, and the k ees are super high

Bludgeon definitely felt like the price of admission here. The retooling/colors are enough to differentiate him from both Tarn, and the first Bludgeon, and the tolerances for poses are really good. Given the tank mode has underwhelmed me from the initial Tarn release with an obnoxious transformation I probably won't bother. Ruckus is a great little space buggy once you finally get everything to lock in place but the robot could have used a bit more engineering, and a little more thought to those high heal boots he wears. I too never saw Beachcomber anywhere though I have him preordered from Entertainment Earth for apparently February.

Ruckus just requires practice. I've been able to get both arms to peg in correctly by doing both at the same time. I do wish his articulation was a little better, though. No denying that

The QC must be all over the place. I have to use two hands to peg the gun into Rukus hand. Apparently there are some flash on the inside of the hole, making it just ever so slightly too small. To the point where you almost think it won't go in. Meanwhile, the joints, especially the transformation one on one of the legs is super loose, like looser than the knee joint itself. And the two gun barrel on the back plate keeps falling off because the plastic is slightly bent. Oh, the chest on my also pops off every single time I transform it.

i really need a replacement tarn cuz its super super good but my particular one the first bludgeon has a massive issue with the back where the back just doesnt work no matter how i transform it and the little peg thing the back plate sits on is partially broken because of amazons terrible shipping. its a really nice figure its just my particular copy has a few major qc issues

i was really looking forward to getting ruckus and was really disappointed once i got him, hes just no fun to mess with, his top is too wide, his shoulders have no range, his elbows bend too high up, his ankles are really awkward, the knees bend too low compared to the sculpt and the locking thing is weird, and the transformation should be dead simple but its so frustrating cuz the clearances are juuuust slightly off so you have to fight it every time. the head looks cool at least and i dig the colours, and im glad that his gimmick is available in both modes, but the massive size of the molding required just feels disproportionate to what you get, he feels like an old unicron trilogy toy that had all the mechanisms for his gimmick like springs and lights taken out and then they ran a pin through his shins and called it articulation, its just all wrong, such a big let down
