It's not sad. It's a reality of life. You expect good things from those professing to be decent people. In fact we demand it. If a decent looking suited man addressed you disrespectfully, most people will react negatively but if it was a stinking crackhead, most people will ignore it and walk away. Also think about this. If a white area has lot of crime, will the residents of that area go and pressure the criminals to stop committing crime or are they pressuring government and police. What's sad is people not expecting black people to demand any responsibility from public services.

There are dickheads and pricks in every walk of life, every job, including the police. Understand this, don't trust them, but don't give them a reason to throw the book at you. Despite being white, I have had the police come for me and lie about what I did. They didn't give two shits when I said I have a video of a copper doing illegal shit restraining me. Remember the officer who got acquitted, did so with the jury having no knowledge of chris' background. That information only came out because a judge lifted the order for his background be not be revealed. His mum tried to get that order to remain so that info wouldn't have been available for at least a few years but the judge rejected this request. We can sit here right now and say this and say that, but at the end of the day he shouldn't have done what he done trying to ram his way out. That car was followed for 15 minutes from camberwell to tulse Hill where they tried to stop him. The car was linked to not 1, not 2, but 3 shootings hence the heavy handed tactics used. We are not police, we cannot sit here and say oh, should have shot his tires, should have tased him etc, its embarrassing. Mad itch is actually a real indication of his character. The cctv footage was cold was hell, the way he pops the strap one time so calmly, this guy was calculated and a very dangerous man. It's sad that he chose to go out the way he did because for you to have a bag of armed feds pointing their guns at you, you must be mad to try ram you way out. I mean as a gunman, in your heard, you must really know when the armed feds come knocking they ain't pointing guns to scare or tickle you are they. If anyone has done jury service or been involved in a case before, you will know just how much evidence and arguments are presented at trial. Most of the opinions people seem to have is based of emotions rather than facts. Bringing race and murder into question. It's embarrassing to even be in conversation with people who have this mentality, common sense is seriously not common any more. RIP Itch but it should have never ended this way. Not only has he lost his life, the officer involved has also lost his life he had. He can never live a normal life for himself and his family ever again. This country has been soft and always will be and criminals think they can do whatever they want. If it's so bad here go be a criminal in another country and see how far you get. If you ever been stopped by armed feds, let's not pretend you're a normal guy working an admin role with no links to crime whatsoever. The logic of these arguents is so flawed and blinded by your angry and hurt emotions rather than what it really is. The truth hurts, and it really goes to show here.

We offer our deepest condolences to the family for the loss of their child. Losing a child is never easy, regardless of the circumstances. However, it is important to recognize personal accountability, and families should be aware of what their children are involved in outside the home. The CCTV footage released by the police provides a clearer view of Chris’s life. Sadly, he lived by the gun and died by it. The key message here is to stay away from street life-it offers false promises and is ultimately a dangerous path.

Pounds broke this down like he was reciting ABCDEFG... Many young people are raised by hard working, religious and law abiding parent(s), yet whilst their parents toil to make ends meet, some children succumb to the seemingly lucrative and hazardous allure of the streets and crime - it is a dichotomy fuelled by the universal goal we are taught from birth to present, to be successful. I get why there is uproar , but my thing is there were clearly prejudices before the policer arrived and were too aggressive , a non lethal approach could of been made especially because he was boxed in (glass could of been broken and possibly suspect tasered), but equally why was Chris Running (we know why)and why didnt he stop (as a black man youre making things worse for yourself ) , in the eyes of police its a sign of guilt if you are running even more so if you are in a 2 plus tonne car. Potentially using that as a weapon , in short both actions from the armed police and Chris were poor unfortunately it cost Chris his live for not complying sooner.
@captacao528Ай бұрын
Why do we as black people want all this leniency in a predominantly white country ? It’s a split decision situation of a non compliant assailant, anpr on a car linked to guns means immediate armed response…Kaba caused this .
@teddyraccs7607Ай бұрын
Also the fact that the police know that the car is associated with a wreckless gunman and there’s a wreckless driver ramming their car who fits the description. RIP to Chris but he drawed himself out to get shot.

Terry Venables, John Thompson, Dennis Nilson and Dale Creagan all committed horrendous crimes but they were all captured unharmed, interviewed and put behind bars for a long time. Chris Kaba was suspected of carrying but he didn't discharge nefing at the police (Unlike CB from Newham who was a black gm, fired at the police and is now serving a 23 yr sentance) Chris used his vehicle as a battering ram to escape, he shouldve been taken in alive and punished by the law if found guilty instead of being exterminated.
@fling4206Ай бұрын
Officers didn’t know who Chris was. They stopped the vehicle because it was linked to a shooting so your point is invalid

I am really unsure how to retrain the mentality of these types of black people. Only people on the wrong side of the law have problems with police. Granted, there are some bad police but there are also bad people within families. These are rare and the result of individual behaviour, not a profession or a race. Anyone with a good education, a good income, not in council housing or in poorer areas, and making better choices at a young age don't have this experience. Kaba was trying to kill other young black men. Are we searching for racism so much that we can't take accountability for a lack of social discipline? If the police were all racist they would not protect black people at all in areas traumatised by gangs. They would police gang members or possible gang members when they enter affluent areas which typically have a low black population. Come on, this is really sad to hear this fear of police. Perhaps a change in behaviour, abd stop listening to U.S rap music glorifying gang culture. This links to poor family structure and a breakdown in the nuclear family, inadequate parental support and education, and poor life outcomes. Survival mode is a defeated state of mind. It's like no one expects to do better than what they think society expects, and they get lazy and blame failure for not trying on racism. The mentality is what has institutionalised people like Chris Kaba, not the police. Quick honesty box: If Chris Kaba had the freedom pass to kill 10 people without any criminal conviction, how many of those 10 people would not be black? If you're honest, you know there is a problem and it isn't the police!
@NiallOriellyАй бұрын
You either lived a charmed life or you're not black or aware of real life "only people on the wrong side of the law have problems with police"?? Tell that to the black British athletes that were pulled put of their car for no reason and had their baby taken out of their arms for no reason, or the black politician that talks of being stopped by armed police and to this day doesn't know the reason why. The police investigated themselves and concluded that racism is a massive issue within it. and had this proven in court. Yes Poet and Dougs takes are wrong but yours is way off the mark too. Way off
@Anthony_JordanАй бұрын
@NiallOrielly I am black, but I have never lived in inner cities because I chose to only surround myself with university educated people. As a result, I live in Sussex and own multiple businesses, and I have never ever had a problem with police. I don't understand why just because we are black, the aspiration is hood life. I see all of these small sets and 13 year old making drill music inciting violence and bragging about committing crime or stabbing someone. These young boys are getting stabbed in London every day. I do believe there are socio-economic factors and systemic issues, but anyone choosing to cause terror and harm regardless of race is nothing more than a folk devil. I've heard nothing but victimhood culture blaming race and politics. There aren't race relation issues in the UK, but because people hold onto the past, everyone who is poor is a victim of injustice. The police shot a terrorist on London Bridge, and they shot a terrorist in Streatham. The people were all a great to society. We don't know all of the details of every tactical deployment, but my hunch is that there was enough intelligence to suggest that a tactical unit was required to apprehend some criminals. If you see police with guns, you surrender. What are police to do? Let a criminal escape because they didn't want to use force? That's how the UK becomes LA, and everyone will have a gun. Black people living in these conditions have a choice. The choice at the moment is to not unite against crime. Therefore, the cycle of poverty, criminality, state dependency, and poor life expectancy will not change. My final point is this, until people take accountability for their own actions (not this woke-socialist community nonsense), more young people will be affected by crime. The more young minds are exposed to dysfunctional behaviour, the sooner this becomes normalised, and they are desensitised to pain and suffering as this is what they know as normal. Fathers need to stay with their child's mother and create stability. The young people following someone like Chris Kaba followed his example mostly because they are not guided within the home, and most parenting is shouting or violence. Again, they become immune to pain and suffering, so how do they have regard for life if they aren't nurtured to value their own life? We need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable with reality; solve own social needs; and stop blaming others by default.
