I cannot wait to play and romance Lucanis and omg the hair looks amazing. I love the long curly hair. It looks stunning. The game is looking so amazing and I cannot wait to dive in on my PC on steam. One month and 10 days is going to feel like forever for me. I waited 10 years, and I absolutely was going to play this and everything coming out about the game just solidifies that even more.

God, that hairstyle moves beautifully. I was worried that one in particular would look kinda awkward in motion due to the length, like how the long straight hair that the Qunari in IGN's video had a few moments of slightly wonky physics. Glad to see it behaves pretty naturally. Also, your Rook is gorgeous! That quick snippet of her in the Lords of Fortune outfit was breathtaking, especially with the curvier figure you gave her. Can't wait to see what people cook up with the CC when the game launches.

Been going around looking at reviews to more inform me getting this and a majority are positive but not perfect which is perfectly fine. The more negative reviews seem to be very nitpicky and uninformed with basic knowledge of the game. Not expecting people to have an encyclopedic knowledge but still, very basic stuff people are getting wrong and blaming this game for it.

I found lots of things in the game were friendly to newcomers too which is why I find some videos disappointing. It feels more like they formed opinions before seeing footage and wanted to stick to them.

It's a lot different than previous DA games' mage playstyle. I've always enjoyed spellblade type characters in other RPGs so maybe that's my bias.

I had about 6h total of gameplay and half of it was locked with Neve, Bellara, or Harding. I also got to do Lucanis specific missions. So far, I like Lucanis and Bellara the best. I can easily see Taash becoming a fave once I spend more time with her. Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of time with Emmrich. and Davrin.

The hair physics are making me want loose natural hair but that 3-afro puff style is a dream come true too! lol I'm so excited to lead another group through Thedas. Seems to be more than the ragtag neighborhood watch of DA2 but less than the vanguard of an international peacekeeping force like the Inquisition.

This video made me feel a lot better. I was really concerned about the animation and art style. It looked really cartoony and out of proportion in the official gameplay footage, almost like AI generated or something. However, your play through footage actually looks good. I do still think I would’ve preferred more grit, less instagram filter with how polished everything looks, but at least it doesn’t look so uncanny valley lol. The hair movement is amazing tho (I love your rook btw 🤩). Anyhoo I’m glad you had good things to say about the game. It put my mind at ease 😁

I'm interested to play Dragon Age Veilguard because the combat looks fun and story continues from Inquisition. I personally find the new companions disappointing though. They all looks so generic to me. No standout like Cassandra or Morrigan.

I’m afraid this woman’s opinion may be influenced by her free trip to San Francisco for the game (something that, for example, Skill Up didn’t do). Veilguard looks great, of course. The only thing I don’t like from what I’ve seen is the facial design of the characters; it looks cartoonish and leans toward the PEGI 16 threshold.

The body sliders could definetly be improved. Dragon’s Dogma did it better. Maybe the modders will create better chest and glute sliders.
