You know what’s wild, Finn. You built Blasphemi because of an iconic movie, and now the car you built is way more famous and iconic than the original idea. And not just that, you’ve always maintained the exact same character and demeanour of the years. I think that’s extremely special, can’t wait to get over the ocean and have a chance to meet you in person. Thanks for the years of content and inspiration you’ve provided to not just me but thousands (maybe millions) of other car enthusiasts. 🇦🇺

FINNIGAN,. Maybe you need to brace up where the front tilt hood mounts to the fiberglass. One day you may have the hood open on a windy day and it might twist it to just crack or snap or weaken where it mounts. OR even the stress of going over 200mph wind pressure on it could cause damage or cracking after multiple passes. Remember you never expected the trunk lid to go sky high. Better safe then sorry.

It astonishes me to see you doing metal work in shorts and sneakers. I picked up the habit of steel toe work boots, jeans, and a long sleeve shirt after having weld slag melt through my sneaker and burn my foot badly. Getting the melted materials out of the burn was quite painful. Seeing Freiberger also wearing flip flops makes me crazy. Yeah it's hot to wear the gear, but it beats the shit out of getting burned, including radiation burns.

Hey Finn, from a long time follower (since before Roadkill) I'm asking and pleading with you, CONVINCE Tony to put that front end on his 55! That amount of glory would be unparalleled and awesome! I love how the mini guys do a flip front end. They cut from the top rear part of the inside wheel well to the top rear corner of the hood and hard mount those pieces. Then you don’t have to worry about pulling the bottom corners out so they don't hit the doors.

SO glad you are FINALLY working on sorting out all the shit wrong with that car. Next is make a single fuel cell that holds both fuels in separate chambers with separate pumps. That way it is simply changing tunes and moving shut off arms. With your Dominator, all you need is a street and race switch so it knows which fuel pump to use and it MIGHT even use different tunes or different timing and injector offsets so your tune itself stays the same but the injector length and timing advance are changed.

@Charley_Buehner3 ай бұрын
Came to the comments looking for this one... I'm envisioning a piece of flat-stock running across the top connecting both hinges and sandwiching the fiberglass between the metal.
@insane4wheeler13 ай бұрын
@bobpayne2391 Not to mention, when having the hood open, a gust of wind might like to twist the hood and fracture a mounting point. Which could lead to a hood loss at over 200mph. They never expected to lose the trunk lid. So it would be, "A better safe than sorry" thing.
@jasonedwards52923 ай бұрын
Instead of bump stops for the hood you should check out the latching system on a late model long nose Pete. They basically have a box mounted to the fire wall and pin that slides into the box for correct alignment and it keeps the panels from rubbing against each other. Happen to have one sitting in the drive if you don’t know of any.
