afaik this issue is only on the older Burn E2 (Max), not on Blast or Klima, cuz those 2 later ones came with the steel connection since day one, while the earlier Burn E2 (Max)'s had aluminum there

One of the reasons I went for Vsett. They worked out pretty much all the bugs with the Zero line, yes the 10+ still has controllers burning out, but Nami has critical parts failing during riding. A controller failing just results in power cutting out, and 11 series is built very robustly. I've not heard of any issues with the 11 series.

Vsett seems like a reputable company that will back their customers when things go wrong. I think all these electric scooters are still in the experimental stages, no matter how much the manufacturer runs tests in their factories. We are still the test subjects in the real world. And if the manufacturer can't support us when things go wrong with their product in the real world, we have a big problem.

my problem is i don't like those at all, if there's anything i would rather avoid it's squarewave/triangle crap controllers out of the box you can't even directly install better controllers as they don't have hall sensors in the 10 and up (which most sinewave controllers require for a smooth start)

For the average person to do this job your self will be a nightmare, by the time you get all the tools you need it will cost you big time. Thanks for making people aware I own one of the problem scooters and don't ride the way I used to ,I will be replacing the parts asap . Awesome video as usual love your work.

stem change is easy, if you can't do basic maintenance, that is a "you" problem. learn, it's really not difficult to work on a nami scooter, it's very very easy to change tyres, motors, controllers, it's designed to be all plug and play. also like to add it cost me less than 50 bucks to get c spanner, bearing grease, loctite. if you need to go to service centre to fix anything outside of battery, than you need to learn bro and save yourself some labour costs lol

I have a Klima Max and would like the Burn E Max but my experience with fluid and Nami has been luke warm, I come from the powersports industry which means nothing here but I do understand service, I'm new to the scoot scene so maybe this is what we have to deal with, I don't know... With good guidance from folks like yourself, I feel like I can make better buying decisions.

Glad I could help. I really hope Michael Sha goes back to the fundamentals of what Nami stood for when he started. It was great to watch in the beginning how a manufacturer builds relationships with its customers and takes every one of their inputs into consideration when building and upgrading the Nami Electric Scooter to satisfy their customers' needs. Nami owners felt like they were part of the brand, working hand in hand with the manufacturer to build the scooter of their dreams. Now, it just seems like Michael Sha took all their ideas to build an electric scooter that everyone would want and blocked the same Nami owners who helped him build the Nami brand when they had issues with their Nami electric scooters and posted about it on his platform.

Hey kizi I agree with you if it's more than a couple of incidents they should look at it but in some cases these guys abuse there scooter I don't care what any manufacturers say these scooters are not made for rough riding good video

You are absolutely correct. These electric scooters are not designed to withstand the level of abuse that can occur during intense and harsh riding over time. Whether it's structural or electrical failures, pushing them beyond their intended limits is likely to result in issues. But when the manufacturer promotes this harsh riding of their products and something happens, they start playing hide and seek with their customers. I think It is important for manufacturers to be transparent about the limitations of their products and to provide reliable support to their customers when issues arise. I once saw an electric scooter company comparing their product to a mountain bike, and I couldn't help but think that mountain bikes are built to withstand much harsher conditions. The comparison just didn't hold up.

Not submergible but still, muddy + damp is within thresholds for my '23 Phantom (IP54), and I clean it every 2 or 3 rides, etc, it's very well looked after. Maybe Sha just had enough, we've all been there - but he should've maybe logged in as someone else & argued anonymously. It's one thing to aggressively defend & promote the brand, but like I typed in another comment, a stem failure, and I'm talking a legit stem failure, can be deadly. That's "we can't get insured in North America anymore" settlements. What better way to reinforce the brand by handling it aggressively & publicly. Tons of reviewers suggesting the BurnE2 Max is the best in the non-boutique industry, there's so much to gain & lose. "Your scooter's dirty & you're a liar" isn't exactly gracious. I fixed their PR prob (Stem-Gate) for them in one post. Most will TLDR which is convenient anyway: "We had to block @scooter_karen because they insisted on spamming our feed with allegations that we've already addressed directly (ref-link, ref-link). The stem design is critical to ensuring rider safety & we take this very seriously. We do not censor complaints on this page or anywhere. We welcome all opinions & will address concerns as quickly as possible. We would like visitors to our page to feel welcome & perhaps discover a knowledge resource that can help them get to know & care for their Nami scooter(s). We must, however, define a line between complaints & harrassment. We've provided an avenue for complaints & we respond to each one. The users @scooter_karen and @scooter_ken were asked to stop, they did not, so we had to block them. The complaint became what appeared to be a miniature campaign to smear the Nami brand. Their complaints are still shown here (ref-link), but we've had to disable replies. Our design & QA teams have tested & continue to test the Nami Burn-E2 Max's stem coupling, both existing & future designs, and neither we nor (other brands who incorporated this exact stem into their designs via the same source), have found any issues, even at 2 x peak load. We only managed to bring about a stem failure in (e.g. 2 Nami models at 3.4 x their peak limits - well beyond any reasonable expectation - at a temperature of -35C). A rider would have to be 623 lbs, jumping from a curb of 2ft in height, in -35C weather to damage the stem. That's like a 7ft Grizzly Bear or a vending machine, jumping over the hood of a car on a Burn-E2 Max). The weld joints are consistently treated to ensure they never weaken over time. This includes your Nami scooter. Please refer to the important scooter setup videos provided on our YT page, to ensure your stem is properly & tightly fastend. Each Nami scooter comes with a toolkit to help the user routinely tighten any loose bolts. Our scooters are built to endure a lifetime of bumps, dirt, puddles and rain. Cleaning & lubricating your Nami scooter will ensure it retains its resilience to the elements. We are very confident in our products, our design team, and the men & women who continue to create the best scooters in the industry. We wear the awards of (X, Y, Z) for 22, 23 & 24 proudly on the title page. We are always seeking to improve, strengthen & innovate all Nami scooters - including yours! " - The Nami Team (Some reasonable guy who grabbed the keyboard from Angry Allan while he went outside to punch the wall & yell at cats)

That's a pretty shocking way for an owner to behave - blocking people for mentioning issues! I despise Facebook & uninstalled it years ago, so I'll wait to hear what happened. I really think it's time for reliability ratings to come out.

all of this is false. he wasn't blocking people that had issues. he was blocking nasty posts sh!tting on nami and being disrespectful. it was tested and tested, the only things braking were the shocks under test, which he showed. also, many people did there own tests on the stem and it was SUPER strong. I know people what have over 15K miles on the nami, I have 7K and no issues. people just treated their namis like an off road vehicle 4x4 jeep, jumping off massive jumps. every person that posted the stem brakes were also outted for treating there namis like crap, even people started posting videos of these "nami stem failures" showing one of the dudes jumping huge jumps!!! If you have a stem failure, post it and I bet it won't get deleted if you're not crying about it and being a baby because you miss treated your scooter, boo hoo. funny how its not been recalled and its not a wide spread issue. you also notice all the nami stem failures have something in common? all the namis are so so so dirty and damaged from rough riding, its clear they was abusing it

I've been doing research for a few months (casually) since this post & aside from boutique scooters, it's almost unanimous that the Burn-E2 Max is the best in the industry. Plus, the censorship appears valid, and the day I let Facebook tell me what to buy is the day my arse learns to chew gum. Allegation or not, I take censorship of complaints pretty seriously. I didn't know the brand or about the customer service but I'll listen to the community. I'm not gonna make a $6k CDN decision based solely on some guy's story, but my '23 Apollo Phantom (version before mine) has had stem failures & a recall. This came from the community & the brand replied appropriately. That's what customers expect. I'm also not going to blame the user just because the scooter is dirty (IP55 means you should be able to get it muddy/wet, right?). I'm well aware there are people abusing the scooters just for the clicks. Facebook is not the brand & I can't think of a better place to tell wipeout karens where to put their stems, but unless it's spam, it's not clever to kick them out of the store. "We test each stem under max load for X hundred hours, in heat, the cold, and only with a load of 300lbs off a 2 ft curb, were we able to cause a stem failure". Not blocking them. Plus, this is aluminum, not titanium. They should do what other brands do - ask them to contact an email to describe in detail how/when it happened, what model, and publicly defend your 'thesis'. If stem stress-testing WAS done that extensively & they all go through a more stringent QA, people will be able to trust it. Hiding a stem failure story, not to mention a lot of them, is just not how it's done. Stem failures- REAL ONES - can kill. I'm not about to trust any brand tbh. I mean, the industry's putting teenagers on planks that will go like 130km/h (and counting), it's not like the industry's concen is safety (well, maybe the Segway GT2 and the Apollo Pro, both capable of much faster speeds but are dialed down). So back to business, with a legit question, since your account is at least Nami inspired: I'm looking at getting a Nami BE2 Max in the spring, if I don't get an Apollo Pro instead. Not comparing those scooters side by side, the prices are...well, the BE2 Max would cost me 6k, the Pro 4k. I'm trying to find out how the Burn E2 Max (or whatever it was called before - the flagship, anyway), has evolved. What do i gain if I wait 'til the next iteration? It doesn't appear to have changed at all in the last 2-3 model versions. Is Nami public about what they intend to do with their flagship next, like better waterproofing, larger tires, swappable batteries, etc? Anyone who wants to comment, please let me know what the '24 has that the '22 doesn't? If they had the same name then, that is.

I bought nami klima BUT I bought it from a reseller and if anything happens to the scooter or to me they will have to give me money back and if I get hurt then they will have to pay it all

Thanks for making this video. I tested the Nami Klima and i fell in love with it due to the power and smoothness. Now because of this, I won't be buying a Nami. I do not want to risk my life and buying from a shady company. I like the Wolf GT but the built quality and the parts it uses seem cheap. I think I'm going to get the Segway GT2. What do you think about the GT2?

Not true, I had problems withy kaabo and was left all alone. Chinese companies are all for money grab. No responsibility and if you get them to answer they will ask 1000 questions making everything very hard to deal with.
