I remember seeing these guys live. Loved their set so much I bought the album and was unpleasantly surprised to find that this song wasn't on the album or any of their stuff on youtube. I just want you to know how much this song means to me. I'm at the lowest point in my life right now - literally writing this comment while in a mental hospital (They let us keep our phones in this one! no long chargers tho). There's a lot of group circles like the ones depicted in this video we have. I've always been really bad with managing my feelings in a healthy way, especially losing my temper. I got problems talking out my negative emotions because there's definitely shame in falling into anger. But I'm learning that it's ok and normal to do so. The lines early on in the song - "I hate you, but I don't want to hate you, I'm just mad." is an extremely healthy mindset to speak to myself or others. There's a lot of other really good lines in this. I try to put this on when I'm feeling bad (like today) and it always makes me dance or feel better. Great song to sing along to too. I first found your band through Mental Karate and I'm so glad to see you guys consistently write lyrics about mental health in a positive and healthy way. You have really made a difference in my life. Btw, if anyone writes "too long didn't read" or "I'm not reading all of that" you are literally the worst type of person. I don't need to know that. you don't need to shame me. Just move on.
