Same… The heat/humidity was intolerable around my area, so very few ppl were even getting out of their cars, but the few that I actually talked to were complaining about the same thing. I think I did about 30 raids Sunday… I did get 3 shinies, but I think the highest IVs I got were like three 89’s. Biggest bummer was, I ran into a guy I was Lucky with, and he asked if I wanted to mirror trade shinies, b/c his wasn’t great either (I had only caught one so far at that moment), and my OG shiny, one of the few 89’s I had caught, turned into an 87 lol…. On his end, however, he ended up with a 96. I couldn’t believe not getting ANY in the 90’s out of all 30 raids I did.

we done 50-60 ish raids at a local gym cluster, other friend was like im 2 hours later, first raid he did once arrived: hundo. my main account with ticket: 0 shinies my alt with a few raid passes and no ticket: 2 shinies! But c'est la vie.

So wasn't just NZ then- myself & the locals here were on the strugglebus with raid shinies & IVs & even with wild spawn shiny rates- ticketed players were getting similar shiny rates from wild spawns than non-ticketed players (I got just 18 shinies total from 14 hours of event game play, 5 of which were duplicates out of over 50000 total balls used), I did almost 100 Necro raids, best I got was a single 14 attack 98% & 14 attack 96%, 3 other pokemon were low 90% range, everything else was 89% or lower including the only 2 shinies I got (both in the 70% range). Sentiment with the local community here is the $26 price of ticket was not worth it when non-ticket players were pulling in the same or better rates than ticketed.

Very similar situation. Caught 73. 1 shiny. In the same group one person was raiding and got 10 shinies. RNG is fun, but when it's THAT BAD of an rng - it just feels like being punished. Point of doing many raids is to make sure you're not bound to RNG. If I did 5 raids and got no shiny - you know RNG is RNG... but if I do more than 70 I would expect more than 1 shiny.

My first Necrozma raid on Saturday was a Hundo, which I didn't realize until 3 hours later. By Sunday 6pm, I'd raided for 70 Necrozmas, but no shinies. That Hundo was great consolation.

Odds don't work like that. You have a 1 in 20 chance of a shiny each time you raid. It doesn't mean that 20 raids guarantees a shiny

@@thekweewee I dont think you understand how odds work. The more attempts you have at something, the higher probability there is that it happened for you. At 5% chance of a shiny, and 94 attempts, you have an overall 0,95^(94)= 0,008 in other words 0,8% chance of NOT getting a shiny. This dude with 94 raids had a 99,2% chance to get one shiny, and he didn't. Thats if Niantic kept it at 5% shiny chance like raids usually are.

If there were 10,000 players who did 94 raids, that would mean there are probably about 100 players who did 94 raids without finding a shiny. it's normal. sometimes you just get bad luck. for comparison, it took me until my 65th necrozma to find a shiny one. which put me in the bottom 3%. and yesterday I got a shiny articuno on my first try. The shiny odds are normal. you just get bad luck some days and good luck others

Dude it's true. I felt really happy to get my second hundo. Took me 270 raids to get two. And at 380 I'm still at two. But the next day, I saw a friend get a shundo and another friend got SIX hundos in 130 raids. It made my two hundos feel lame and made me unsatisfied with my results.

There was 3 hundos in my group I was super happy for them. One guy got it on his second raid and another got it the next raid, on the first day. Fun stuff I don’t have any hundo legendaries but it’s not the end of the world for me I have a lot of fun playing the game. Right now with the 4x xp event I’m getting over 1 million xp per hour. I just have 38 million xp left till level 50 then I just have to complete the level challenges. First time since 2016 since I’ve played this hard I’ve been set on getting to level 50 since 2022 when I picked the game back up. Nice to see I’m almost there!

I personally did close to 440 raids in 2 days and the game rewarded me with a hundo after almost 42 hours of nonstop raiding (including remotes), and I thought that nobody can beat the amount of raids I did over the weekend. Yeah I think BrandonTan mentioned having a friend that did over 800? (don't quote me on that # , but it was definitely over 500) without any Hundos. It definitely does suck a bit, but that's the nature of RNG. Apart from getting the tickets, I didn't spend any extra money on passes, so I'm content with what I got even if it's not the best. You have some really sick ones regardless; the shiny 98 that you Fused with the background is REALLY cool!

RNG means just that: random luck. Sometimes it’s randomly positive where you get tons of shinies and maybe a 100%, sometimes you get tons of crap. It could go either way either way. For someone who usually gets exactly what they want, the complaining is so off-putting and annoying.

I was blessed with a Shundo Nexrozma on Sunday afternoon - honestly felt like I won the lottery. I had some success on Saturday with 3 shinies, but my best IV in total was a 2095 which was a 96% before the big win. Again - incredibly lucky! The day as a whole felt a little underwhelming with 10 shinies compared to 33 the day before and not many people really interested in raiding a bunch, but I can't complain. Me and 3 of my friends did approximately 50+ raids over the 2 days of Go Fest 2024. We EACH got 2 shinies with trash IV's. 2 of us got 98's. 1 of us got a Hundo. 2 of us got 96's too. Around 10 of those raids were remote raids in Manhattan, NYC. 22-ish raids were done locally in Manhattan, NYC during Day 1. The rest were done locally in Queens, NYC during Day 2. Overall Go Fest went pretty well for me but I wasn't well prepared with my Pokemon/Item storage. I spent like 1,000 coins I grinded from gyms. Time to grind again and prepare for Go Fest 2025.

I did just over 170 Necrozma raids. IV's were horrible for so long. Sometime close to 1am EST Sat morning I did not care about CP or stats. I just wanted Fusion energy and to creep closer to my last Platinum medal (Legendary Raids) for level 49 . Never cared to look at the IV's at that time. When I looked back at them Sunday evening I saw I had a 15,14,15 a 13,15,15 and a Hundo! They had to been caught between 2am and 5am. I was so shocked I went back to raiding 10pm Sunday night scraping the barrel for the last raids and then I had a streak of 3 shinies within 4 raids. I stopped complaining. Still in shock. NEVER TRY, JUST DO or DO NOT ... At the point of me JUST DOing ... That's how I got my Hundo.

People are really mixed on this event and that really seems to depend if they got lucky or not. I did 74 with only two 96% and nothing higher and no shinies. Absolutely devastated at my terrible luck. I feel like these big ticketed events need the raid day boosts because honestly it leave a lot of paying players feeling like they missed out.

It takes forever to become lucky friends with someone and lucky trades, for me, haven't gone very well. I've done 30 lucky trades and zero hundos.

I was actually in ICU in the hospital when I caught necrozma after 18 raids with 98% IV and shiny!! Luck 😂

107 necrozma raided. 9 shinies, two 98 and the 107th raid was my HUNDO! What a grind. No high IV shiny or cool portal animation ones.

Yeah seeing the Hundo/Shundo luck ppl be having 2-12 Necrozma 4* was insane for me. 😂 I just did only 320 from Japan to yesterday’s Go Fest and only one 4* to show for it I’ve never went this hard for a legendary Pokémon it was fun but left me a little salty ngl

Oh nice I was in Japan too. Took 122 raids for my first shiny. 158 for my hundo. Got another one at 270. Went to 380. I had a friend get 6 hundos in 130 raids 😮. There needs to be a pity system or something. Or maybe an item as rare as a masterball that can increase ivs by 1.

with the ticket, i got 11 Necrozma shinies, one of them is 96% and 91% and 1 regular hundo Necrozma after doing 30 raids, the luck went through the world, best GO fest so far

My go fest experience was great, did 27 necrozma raids, 3 shinies, and one regular 98 percent, also this is my fitst go fest with over 100 wild shinies, so i guess it's all rng💀

Did 62 Necrozma raids. Got 3 shinies & 2 hundos. I've never gotten a hundo legendary from a raid before so I was pretty stoked. Did 1 Nihilego raid and got a shiny. Did a scattered dozen of the other ultra beasts and did get any shiny or hundos. Overall I thought the event was great! Got plenty of shinies in the wild too.

I did 69 necrozma raids, i got two 98%, 10 wormholes and one of those wormholes was a shiny. So i successfully got a shiny wormhole necrozma and it was the only shiny necrozma i caught. So I'm happy with the raiding i did

I feel you Billy, I too did around 330 raids and no hundo. But you got to understand that this is essentially a gambling app. While you may have been very unlucky with necrozma, think of the other extreme luck you had catching a shadow hundo and shadow shundo mewtwo.

I’ve learned with this game and its odds that you’ve Absolutely gotta be willing to switch your focus and change strategy during an event. several raids with unsatisfying results will kill your buzz and ruin the fun.

I knew I couldn’t be the only one, I did 50 raids and got 29 2 stars, and only 4 of the 3 stars were even remotely usable. My best Iv was a 94% that I did a lucky trade for. I got one shiny that was 3 points over the floor. I’m extremely disappointed and part of me definitely feels like the IVs were a lot lower purposely due to the fact that they were guaranteed catches. I’ve never done this many raids and not even got a 96 at least.

Also I got 0 shinies day one and 2 of gofest. No wild shinies and nothing from raids. Only shiny necrozma I got was from gofest NYC

My numbers weren't that high, but out of my group of 4 people, a 92% was the highest IV, and there was only 1 shiny. This was out of a collective 200ish encounters between the 4 of us.

Pitty counter should be a thing. That's insane. I got 2 hundos in 50 then no hundo in 50 more. Got like 17 shiny though. At least youll probably get multiple in mirror trades.

If I were you when I got frustrated at not getting a hundo Necrozma I'd just look at the Shadow Shundo Mewtwo. That would make me feel better

Wife got shiny hundo 1st raid, 1st Necrozma raid of Gofest global. Her 1st ever and I have never got one, and we are both day 1 players. Never been more happy for her, ingame.

Me having been hunting for the hundo since NYC. My brother who arrived on day 2 at 12:30, first raid pulls a 98% shiny. Second raid, hundo. Literally in what would be the normal amount of passes beyond the bonus amounts we get in the ticket and he basically finished his two fusions in what for me was a week+. Happy for him, but 150 necorzma later and best i have are 3 96s, all without 15 attack to some extent

I powered up my Annihilape for the power up 10 Ghost and 10 Fighting. Made that step a lot easier. I have to admit that I was one of the lucky ones on Sunday. I had 7 shiny Necrozma out of 30 raids, with my best being a 96% 15/14/14. Happy for the shinies but disappointed that I did not get a hundo.

I traveled to the Santa Monica pier for go fest and did a total of 216 raids over both days. I got one hundo xurkitree and 4 98% necrozmas. Thank goodness I remote raided a hundo necrozma from Sendai.
