Hi, a suggestion for practicing Korean is maybe looking at your local or city libraries! Our New York public library offers these conversational workshops for different languages. I’ve been too nervous to try tho. But I have taken one of their language learning courses. Happy holidays and have a happy new year!

I asked the med school question omg!! :) Honestly we started dating between his 1st and 2nd year so I feel like we had kind of a rougher transition because we didn't have as much history to go off of - but then we got into a groove and I really prioritized my own hobbies and friendships like you mentioned which was helpful during 2nd-3rd year, while also still communicating a LOT about our schedules so we could plan date nights and time together even when life was so busy. 4th year has been such a breeze and generally I've observed people have a lot more free time after step 2 and residency applications are in so you have that to look forward to! We've been really thriving and spending a lot more intentional time together and I'm trying to stay really present with that. Just my 2 cents -- but love being able to relate to another person who is dating someone in medicine!

My husband and I have hit a struggle in our marriage and I told him about the check in that you and Thomas do and he agreed that was a great idea. I’m a full time temp employee so I don’t have pto to take. I have been feeling like I need a break since it’s a call center insurance benefits type job and we are busy dealing with end of year/new year changes. We are closed after this week until the new year. which is good because I need a break but also stinks because as a temp I get no pay for the 6 workdays that we are closed.
