Really cool fact about the video for this song, everyone in the video (aside from the band members and the main focus girl in the yellow dress) are fans/friends Dayseeker invited out for the shoot about a month ago over their Instagram story. My sister and I went as we have been big fans of theirs for the past few years and the experience overall was something I'll never forget. Rory, Gino, Ramone, and Zac were all very nice and welcomed conversations with their fans, the crew for the video made it a very fun experience for us all, and my sister and I got a chance to chat with Rory for a few minutes between takes and it was awesome to hear his inspirations for the album (his father passing, his daughter, past relationships, etc.). I can't thank Dayseeker enough for giving myself and my sister the opportunity to be apart of their legacy.

Here's my ranking of the singles: 1. Without Me 2. Neon Grave 3. Crying While You're Dancing 4. Dreamstate I personally love all of them! This is one of those bands that doesn't have a bad song. I hate putting Dreamstate at the bottom, because it's a beautiful, emotional, grief-heavy song about seeing his late father in his dreams and coping with his loss. That was one of those songs that didn't need a breakdown honestly, the lyrics did the job of hitting us like a freight train.

From what Rory has said the album on average is way softer. I've heard a demo for Parallel, and it's definitely a softer one (it's beautiful and probably the most excited I am for a song).

My theory is that Rory didn’t bail on Hurtwave, he loved it so much he integrated it into Dayseeker. He’s found a niche, nobody is doing mainstream synth-style rock stuff. It’s incredible.
