This little « ending video » made me super emotional 😢 How you’ve grown! 🙌🏻 Listening to what you’re saying, I feel you’re like at the end of a relationship with someone, where you still love the person and will always love the person, but the passion has gone away. It’s sad for everybody, but it’s still more healthy to say goodbye so happiness can shine again with someone else. We’ve had this conversation before, I just wish you to be happy, doing what you want to do, without forcing yourself ❤️ Somehow, I feel confident this goodbye won’t forbid us to dance again together and share new joyful memories in the future ✨ Take care Avery, and thank you for everything you inspired to the community, me included ❤️

@@AdmrlSpeedy they do, though. Gaming videos are the best marketing for video games. If someone watches their favourite gamer playing a game and become interested, they’re going to want to play it themselves. Why do you think studios give free games to gaming channels?

Ah yes. DMCA. The evil of every content creator. I watch a different streamer who used to play Rockband on his stream a lot but DMCA put a stop to that. Now he only plays other games and mutes any music that's part of DMCA. He only listens to royalty-free or Twitch sanction music because of DMCA. I get it. DMCA has probably sucked the life out of most music content creators that they can't even do anything about it. If you want to diversify your content, go ahead. It's the only way for people like you can survive.

At the same time it makes me so happy and proud to see someone that I admire so much moving on and taking other steps. Content strategy wise, this move makes sense. And for the personal reasons she mentioned as well ofc. It takes so much courage to follow our dreams and even more courage to realize when a journey is over. Avery, I am one of the people that started JD bc of you. I love you, I admire you and I thank you for being this incredibly inteligent, generous and inspiring woman. Best of luck on your new journey. I relate so much to losing your passion, and I can say from personal experience that it's better to follow other passions in the long run. I trained as a classical musician from when I was about ... six until I first went to uni at the age of eighteen. During that time, all I EVER wanted to do in my life was pursue classical music. I wanted to play in an orchestra. I practised for hours and hours. There was nothing else I wanted to do in my life except play classical music on a stage in an orchestra. Then suddenly, I got to uni and being in that environment, for a lot of reasons, gradually killed the passion I'd had for that career. It's really sad and bewildering to suddenly realise that the goals and the passion you've had for most of your life is just ... gone. But I got through it, and I'm much happier doing what I do now - which is still playing music, just in a really different environment. I hope you have the same success, and I'm sure you will

Mourning is the right word. You can 100% mourn the loss of a dream. You're incredibly valid, and most of us will support you whether you're dancing or not. I appreciate you so much and for making such a difficult decision. Edit: Is this why you were crying during the glow in the dark stream the other day? I was wondering if something like this was the case... we were mourning with you even if we didn't know what would be happening. And with that passion, however short, you've changed so many lives and raised so much money. I've been around for a year now, and I've seen that passion blossom, and fizzle, blossom a bit, and fizzle again, only to grow back when you're with Mitchi and Brie and your cats and raising money... and I definitely intend to keep watching. You got me back into JD on my own terms instead of having to be beat into the ground by my ex best friend, and through that get some more mobility in my body (I'm disabled.) You're awesome and strong, never forget that. Do what makes you happy!! And although it doesn't mean too much from one person, I'll be here to support you along the way.

You deserve to be proud of all you have accomplished over the past 12 years. Being able to form and inspire such an amazing community is incredible. As a childhood cancer survivor, it truly means the world to me that you've raised literally hundreds of thousands of dollars toward helping kids like myself. Thank you for everything, Avery! Your dancing has meant so much to so many of us. I'm usually a twitch lurker, but I felt the need to share with you how you've impacted me personally. I was diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder, after many years of problems, in the middle of the pandemic. My body is getting older and being so sedentary during quarantine has caused me far more pain. At a low point, I caught a stream of you dancing and it reminded me that my body used to dance with joy before. So, I got off the couch and started dancing along with you. My partner bought me copies of JD, so I can play whenever I want now. It hurts sometimes, but I'm happy to be up. It has been so nice to smile and dance with you. I'll continue to love and support your content, whatever it may be.

I also got Just Dance 2 for Christmas because I wanted to learn how to dance. I was obsessed with the games up until 2014 when I moved on to other passions. Recently though, I gained a bunch of weight during the pandemic and wanted to do some sort of joyful movement to fix that and saw Just Dance 2021 was on sale on Amazon. I bought it on a whim and was overwhelmed by how much that game had grown. I was curious about the JD community and found you and Dina here on youtube! Both of you guys have an energy that is so positively infectious and while you both absolutely slay every song thrown at you, you are so inclusive of every dancer at every level. It inspired me so much, I don't know if you'll ever know that! Thanks for keeping up this passion for long enough to build this community - it was such a beautiful thing to come back to. You will be deeply missed.

Thank you so much for making such wonderful Just Dance content. The pandemic meant that gyms were closed or limited so I started playing my older Just Dance games on my Nintendo Wii this winter. Your channel and the channels of some of the other creators that you mention have been so fun to watch as I've gotten back into this game. Knowing that there were people who loved the game and created content about the game, did cosplays for the game, and used the game to fundraise for charity kept me motivated to dance, helped me set goals for myself, and helped me rediscover songs and aspects of the game that I'd forgotten or missed. Playing Just Dance has been so helpful to my mental and physical health during this pandemic. Thank you!

Wow, I'm just so amazed by your braveness and honesty. Especially because Just Dance was basically what you did for a living! It makes me sad that you're quitting Just Dance but I'm even more happy that you want to stick to something that makes YOU happy! You cannot please everybody and it's most important that you get to do what satisfies you in life. I'm excited about the other content that will be getting up on your channel and I know for sure that you will be successful with it as well. You're such a quirky, fun and caring human being and I know that your community will love what you do no matter what! And of course: it totally shows when you actually enjoy something and don't only do it for other people. Keep on being you - you're amazing the way you are, Avery! 😊❤
