Get your name off the car and run for the hills. If the payments are "vanishing" from their website, most likely she is bouncing checks and the payments are being returned after they realize the money isn't in the bank. Check the loan account for late fees and returned payment fees, but something here isn't adding up and it almost seems like she doesn't have the money she claims to be making. Either that or she is cancelling the payment after it's made since you have a small window of time to cancel the pending payment.

It will appear paid until the next cut off, 24 hours later, where it won't process for lack of funds and the transaction will be reversed. This woman is a scammer, no wonder she filed chapter 7.

Insist that the car be sold or tell her you will call the police and charge her with fraud. If she believes you will go through with that she might agree to selling the car to save her reputation. You have to get out of this deal YESTERDAY!!! Forget the engagement, that is how you have been convinced to "save" her financially. Financial infidelity is the serious problem. It wrecked my family and drove my dad to suicide. My mom created debts behind my dad so we lost everything, our house, our car, our saving, everything. After my dad committed suicide and I had to provide for her she did the same to me too. Lying about money, created debts behind my back that I had to pay off times and times again. When she got the huge pension (3 millions) she never told me and still acted poor so I need to pay off her new debt. Financial infidelity is another form of abuse and manipulation. So the caller needs to run away from this woman, as fast as he can.
