Alright guys serious question time! I might have changed my mind about one of the boards in this video. First go check out Voxlink, the guys who built it are friends of mine and it's really worth our support: www.kickstarter.com/projects/constantinegreanias/vox-link-a-local-tabletop-game-finding-social-app?ref=7661v3 So as I set up the photoshoot for the thumbnail, I was scattering some old trees around the green riverbank 4x4 and I really got inspired to start mounting them to the board and jsut give up all hope of making it suitable for scatter terrain. WHOA, did you go look at Voxlink? I'm not kidding it's genuinely an epic app. Go read the KS page for me. But yeah, should I add trees and maybe some little cliff sin permanently? Or keep it suitable for scatter terrain? I could even carve in more rivers and really lean into it. Keen for your thoughts

The old hill came apart great as a four-piece you can configure however you want - but the baseboard seems ripe for reinvention. The river looks fantastic already, and to combat that golf green even further, you could really lean into it and build straight into the board. At this point, you can make an open grass board for scatter terrain in your sleep, so following after the Arnor snow board, why not go for it!

Time marches on. If it will scratch your itch then go for it but time on this board is less time clearing your unit in preparation for the big adventure.

I've just had the feeling that something was stil missing on that 4x4 board actually (apart from water effects). I supposed that if you leave the board just like that its privileged future owner should add other scenery elements so, If you do it before selling it, it will probably have a better look, in a more uniform style, as long as you are not running out of materials

As a terrain hobbiest, I'm soo envious of your storage space.. The stuff I make are way smaller, scatter pieces and I'm already out of places to put em! I can only dream of making huge terrain boards like you. Great stuff as always!

I was initially uneasy at the prospect of cutting the big hill into smaller pieces. But the way it breaks into quarters that can be combined in many ways set me at ease. It's really more versatile now. Whoever gets those terrain pieces is really lucky.

Excellent stuff, when I moved from Oz I sold off a lot of my terrain, some things I wished I had bought with me but a 40ft double height container was full enough! Loving the app idea on it like a tick in summer!

The actual leaves at the set of Amon hen are quite small, surprisingly when I visited the area. You should definately grab som handfuls for your Amon Hen terrain when you arrive in NZ

I have yet to build a good gaming table for my games of Warhammer 40k, and a part of me wants do some really detailed beautiful scenery, but then the other part of me wants it to be suitably grimdark. In the end I think I'll probably go with a blend of the two, with something similar to the beaches of Normandy.

I feel like after many years of seeing some incredible terrain, my ambition’s getting ahead of doing something simple for the learning process. How do you do something that’s not gonna break you but that you can still be satisfied with for a first effort? Something is bothering me about that river. I think the way the plants are placed looks unnatural, that they are too uniformly distributed along the river bank. There would be some areas where the plants extend out more from the bank towards the fields or where larger rocks would be. Right now it is a consistent 1/2 inch ( 1.25 cm ) wide line along each bank.
