Richard wasn't ever all about cars, he was all about making money with cars. His love of cars secondary to making money. He's pretty much gone from business guy to entertainment guy, which is still a business. He's basically the Gene Simons or old cars. Merchandise and promotions. Kudos to him for being good at it. Even going back to his earlier shows, there's a huge difference between how he talks and how say Aaron, or even Tom Weeks talks. Just a different animal

Lots of comments about Richard making a mistake, but it's always good to change things up and buy other cars to start a new direction for the collection like he said. People change and so do their tastes, maybe his appeal is to European cars now.

GMG is a business Richard is the business owner. Some people nowadays forget building a business is not just magic! You have to provide a product or service that will generate a revenue! Now say it with me “ Buy low Sell high”A business that is not producing a product or service for a profit will not stay in business. So to all those ,my money comes from my debt card or ATM ( same group that think their milk comes from the store, hint cows 🐄 make milk or goats 🐐). Wealth and money 💰 comes from people willing to take risk and work long days to build a business. If you have anything negative to say to Richard, try building a business successful enough that it has nationwide name recognition! Our world needs a million more Richard’s! Thank you GMG for the many hours of escape from our everyday lives!

It may come down to where you cant even "give" your gas powered car away lol. God bless Mr. Rawlings, I never got the impression that he is a car enthusiast, more interested in the buying and selling as opposed to collecting. I think that some of these cars will go for more than market due to his "branding" and that extra value will dissipate after a few years. Perhaps he is downsizing and cutting back on shop space, or just trying to take advantage of what he thinks is a high market. Anyway more power to him good luck

@Collie_Collie_9112 жыл бұрын
Few go cheaper than what you would pay in person. Pictures are deceiving. I have found that sellers have based their values on selling prices that doesn't really equate to every vehicle. Hopefully the market will level back to the worth of actual sellers and buyers made in a driveway or parking lot. The value of anything has always been what someone is willing to pay. Kinda reflecting on that my business runs at a continual loss now and I can't afford the overheads for a shop that's now 3/4 empty and has turned into a storage shed. A few months ago I said that this guy will be out of business within 18 mths. But keep up that front Ricky, it's all about appearances eh lol. Oh if you need any advice on how to grow a business go see xtensive down the road. First thing they'll probably say is you need a reputable business first before you start promoting and advertising everywhere. A name doesn't have the same effect lol

@@Bigmike55626 why would I be jealous. Like you say he knows nothing about me and neither do you. I just don't like people who aren't authentic and who portray a false image pretending to be something they're not. That's Ricky's mo so I'm going to call him out on it as well as any other poser out there

Used car dealers speak two languages: "I'm selling it" and "I'm buying it." It allows them to describe and value the same vehicle in two completely different ways.

I'm not seeing anymore buildings like when Aaron was working there. Right now is only about buy and resale 🚗. So disappointing.

Not sure what you've been watching but GMC have just done a custom build truck for Gorilla & a custom build school bus, the millenials also recently done another work truck while Richard was on holiday - whilst Aaron's builds were good, they usually went over time, over budget & made losses regularly, if GMC was still doing things that way Richard would be out of business by now

If there is major financial down turn which is pretty much inevitable at this point the value of collection could fall into the negative so to sell it all off now before the penny drops is very good idea indeed

BAT is more for high profiles that are selling cars,more celebrity based sellers,they take all the work for the sellers out,BAT after submission decides if the vehicle fits their platform or desired look. The company photographs and writes the ad,and posts.Its the new way of selling,but it's not really new lol.

Good luck hope your new adventure works great for you. Over the years you have made some beautiful cars and trucks and vehicles. And I know this isn't the most expensive one but I still love your green mustang if I could have a pic of any of them that would be the car I would take hopefully you're hanging on to that. Wish you the best and a new adventures
