Hey. We came up the same time. I remember you from back then. Brick Mistress was one of the best bands around, and me and my band would come see you guys at what was the Swing Club in wheeling, wv. TIGHT three piece, and, the first time I heard any songs from garage days re-revisited. Amazing playing, time and, always, a dash of humor in what was a b’dass band. Lots of influence on me (as a double-bass player) during my 35yrs performing. OY!! Drummer here. You dont have a drum set. You have two drum sets. So It boils down to WHY yer gettener done? If its money, then disregard this message. IF KNOTT then you have options. Donate the hole kit or split it and Doughnate half of it at one or two places. I've done this with my past kits. IN LOS ANGELES, I know booo, I found like a boys cub place that was focusing on percussion to keep kids off the streets. I literally just showed up and set up the drums, handed a kid the sticks and said have fun. The director ran after me going to my truck thinking it was a scam or something until I explained the deal, but the kids were already bangen the crap out of them so he just said thank you. I smiled and drove off. BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD!!! Just saying.

Once an acoustic drum set is Mic'd up or recorded, the sound becomes an electronic signal. You're better off buying an electronic drum set with all the high-end kits already loaded into it. And the ability to do online jamming, lessons and recording. LOGIC :)
@themaddrummerofficial16 сағат бұрын
I'm going to have to respectfully challenge that one a little. I agree with you regarding "sound, control, and convenience." However an acoustic kit just has a certain "feel" while playing it. That feel can inspire HOW you approach the parts. The same could be said for an electric kits. Not saying one is better than the other, but they're just different. It's like trying to compare a Hammond B3, to a Grand Piano. Both are great, just different.
