When I was in US, filling up a medical form at counter, I wrote Country: Singapore and State: NA. But the staff insist I fill the state, so I told her my country is small has no state. She asked me where is Singapore, I said in Asia. Then she change my form. Country: Asia State: Singapore. I had to firmly reject to sign the form unless she follow what I originally written. Also few occasions Americans do not now where is Singapore, but when I mentioned Singapore Airlines, they recall, so I confirm SIA is Singapore national airline. 😂😂
