If you can't find it in the US, you can make by making a standard brioche dough and bake it. While baking, you make the topping with sweetened condensed milk, coconut and regular milk.... the amount of milk will determined the amount of sogginess you will get. Some people like it more soggy. When the brioche is almost done you take it off, let it cool, put the topping and bake it again at a really high temperature, just to brown the coconut. It has many steps but it is not that hard. You can also shape it like cinnamonrolls and let the topping sip into the cracks.

Cartao Alimentacao= "Food Card" can be provided by the government, but they are usually (most of the time) given out by the employer as a way to supplement an employee`s income along with a monthly metro/subway/bus/gas card, just like medical insurance. All of it is negotiable when procuring a job in Brazil.
@jggouvea2 ай бұрын
Truth be told, they only exist because wages are taxed. The amount paid through such cardas isn't, but the company can still deduct the amount paid as salaries. The downside is that the food card amount isn't taken into account for retirement pensions either.

Sucesso pra voce! Um grande abraço!

When foreigners think of Brazil, they often only remember Rio de Janeiro, but Brazil has many cities that are better than Rio de Janeiro in several aspects. For example, this city has beautiful beaches and much more modern buildings compared to Rio de Janeiro. While Rio de Janeiro is surrounded by favelas, which can create a lower sense of security, this city, despite being located in the Northeast (frequently considered the most dangerous region in Brazil), generally offers a greater sense of security. Crime is usually confined to the peripheral areas, which are far from the city center and are not as visible as in Rio de Janeiro, where favelas can be seen everywhere-just look at the hills.
@JorgeRoberto-o9i2 ай бұрын
@CapivaroHemosito2 ай бұрын
@yantheus_2 ай бұрын

18:00, I (and many Brazilians) enjoy "rediscovering" our country through the lens of a foreigner. Why? Because we have this crappy thing known as "complexo de vira-lata". You probably heard that before. We have a collective lousy image of our own nation because we were considered for too long the "leftovers" from Europe. After the colonial period, wealthy Brazilians would send their kids to study abroad to gain some respect. The end of slavery was also a problem that left some scars, racism, political corruption, etc. So when Brazilians talk about Brazil, they carry this baggage of being chill and fun, and muita zoeira, but also the "third world" feeling from being an underdeveloped country. We know that it is just a matter of propaganda, the US is fucked up, but they say "we number one", and carry on. Brazil should do the same, using nature/lifestyle as a theme. But we keep complaining, on and on, Nowon... Now as a gringo, you don't care about all the crap, and you are actually seeing the beauty, the flavours and colours that we just take for granted. Because it is really granted, as blessed as Brazil is. Also, as I live in Canada, I miss home. I hope you can reach people from elsewhere. Fortaleza is amazing, but I fear you will get flooded with BR comments. Get ready!
