My biggest book annoyance is when a book is part of a series and nowhere on the cover mentions that.

That is definitely Annoying.

Having to wait for the paperback when a book is released kills me too!

It's so annoying. I went to a book release and had to get hardcover and now I gotta re buy my collection just to match the signed Hardcover I got. 😖 First World problem for sure just still, gotta have the collection looking the same! 🤣

Deckled Edges are hard to turn when you're trying to read one handed but they look amazing! I feel like I'm holding a ancient tome when a book has deckled edges. (Side note, I don't think I've ever seen a paperback with deckled edges so that may be why you haven't read one yet) Congratulations on 100 subs! :))

Thank you! 😀 I will now be on the hunt for the rare paper back deckled edged Tome! 📜 🤣

Hello Graham! I’m so excited to discover your channel. I don’t like annotations in general, but I hadn’t thought about religious or books for work. If my boss asks me to read something for work, I always essentially write a review and take notes, but not IN the book. Thanks so much for doing my tag! 💛

Thanks for making the tag! 😀 It was a lot of fun!

Hi, Awesome answers. I was very annoyed at Rin in The Poppy War, and that's the only book I read out of that series. 😊 Video idea ... reorganizing your shelf. I really don't care how it looks but if you want to change the look of it you might as well get a video out of it. 😊 Congrats on 100 Subscribers. 🥳

Thank You! 🙏 That's the BookTuber mindset, does it involve books? Let's make it a video! 🤣

Thank you so much for the tag!! I'm so excited to do this tag (probably in April!). Loved hearing your answers. I have such mixed thoughts on aesthetically organized bookshelves. I'm intrigued by it but also it hurts my brain. I had an acquaintance in high school who read a book a day. It's so impressive! I don't read nearly that fast. 😂

You had a friend who was going to high school and reading a book a day at the same time 😱 That's amazing! 🤣 I can't wait to see what you do for the tag! 😀

@@GrahamMatthewsReviews To be fair, I think he was in college when I was in high school. He attended the same church I went to but I didn't know him super well. But that reading fact made an impression! haha

I was excited when I first heard about Little Free Libraries. It didn't last long. At least the ones I've seen, they're treated like trash cans. Either the books are jammed in there like you said, or they're in such awful shape to begin with that they belong in the trash/recycle bin.

They are rough at times for sure. I'm planning on building one in the future! Because I think the concept is just so cool. And I'll be able to maintain it! 🙌

Thank you for finally get this annoyance off of my brain - Robin Hobb series, publisher or author or both decided that they would 'encourage' readers to buy the next in a series by publishing a short blurb that would follow the action of the series with no identification that what they were publishing was actually the first part of the next book in the series. Talk about cynical, talk about 'we must bribe our readers to purchase the next book without telling them that we are going to try to manipulate them into buying the book'. I stopped buying any of her books, they were totally ruined by that cynical manipulation. So, any publishers of series, be warned - you can attempt manipulating the readers but you will drive them away, because ----> fantasy does not work like that!
