SHINee has one of the best discographies in kpop, and they are known for their live performances and live vocals. I would definitely recommend watching more of their live stages such as: Sherlock (Clue+Note) at SHINee world IV, Stranger (SHINee world IV), Picasso, Dynamite, Everybody (SHINee world IV), Odd Eye, Symptoms, Selene 6.23, An Encore, Colors of the season and Orgel. I could honestly list more!! And each SHINee member has their own solo work which is equally distinct to each member and of which is also impeccable. Thank you for reacting to SHINee!!

Replay is SHINee’s debut song so it means a lot. The MV was part of SM’s remaster project so it’s in HD with lyrics now. I hope you can check it out! Jjong & Key were crying due to being touched by fansigns I believe. Also I believe Onew still holds the record for longest note by a male Kpop idol. My lungs struggle just holding my breath that long. 😅 The song Hot Times is from a group called SM The Ballad that Jonghyun was part of, another song Please Don’t Lie from them is very good too. Just so you know, SHINee's song is "Please Don't Go." They don't have a song called Please Don't Lie. The song "Lie" that they were singing in this compilation video was a cover of first gen. Kpop group GOD's song "Lie".

One of the songs you wrote down, "Hot Times" is from SM the Ballad, which is a group formed from various members of different SM groups and the whole point of their songs is just to go off vocally on crazy runs it's very extra and very fun. Also totally recommend checking out a solo song from each member as they each have really different solo styles and different voices and that could help you with your goal of recognizing each of their names/faces/voices as you wanted ^^ Whatever you end up doing, I wish you lots of fun!

Sorry to disappoint you, but Onew did not have braces. "Replay" is SHINee's debut song from 2008, and it means a lot to SHINee and Shawols. They perform a version of this song at almost every concert and performance they ever do. However, SHINee never performs a song exactly the same way twice, so if you watch the MV and multiple live performances of the song you will see they all sound and look a little different in every performance. "Replay" is one of the most covered songs by trainees and rookie groups, and everyone in the industry has covered this song at least once in their career. "Replay" is considered the best debut song of all time because it never gets old or goes out of style. The performance you saw a clip from was from SHINee's SHINee World Concert IV (SWC4) in Seoul from 2015, and what they were showing you was a stripped down, almost acapella, version of the song. Their eyes were sparkly because they were all super emotional. If you watch that full performance you will see that Jonghyun was sobbing while singing, that's how good they are, he sounds flawless even while crying. They were all touched by the signs the audience were holding up during this song, showing their love for SHINee. So that is why they were emotional.

I agree Shinee are great singers! I don't quite agree, with the selection of cuts in this video. Good vocal moments are not always the loudest ones . After all, Shinee has such gorgeous live moments (some are in the video), everyone has their own, but here it’s mostly beltings moments .
