Shinee are the Pilar of the Kpop industry everyone respect them, actors,singers... , the Kpop is the way it is today because of them (not me who say it, it's a fact), they were the first to bring almost everything in the industry , first hard dance move, originality in their clothes , original hair styles , amazing performance, originality in their concerts, they've done various style of music.... They are known to have one of the most beautiful voice in Korea (Jonghyun), a Leader who've an unique voice & who can do Opera (Onew), One of the member who have design their costumes (Key), & (Taemin) who's known to be the Dancing King in Kpop, and Minho the charimatic rapper ....... Everyone in the industry Know them. Anyway Love them a lot , they really are good peoples.

Yes, I can honestly say that, although in my late 50s, I have been known to be cooking in my kitchen and twerking to SHINee and/or Taemin. My family just stands there and stares at me. It's all good. I'm having fun and they're entertained because they think I'm out of my mind. Once you really know SHINee, you will understand that during "Ring, Ding, Dong", 1) they were conserving their energy for "Lucifer"; and 2) Taemin didn't come out and join the group until after the first stanza of "RDD" because he was changing after having his solo performance right before "RDD". For "Lucifer", they went hard. This is what they need to do to be able to perform consistently during the entire 3:23:07 concert. I’ve watched you first because of Katrina and Jessica’s I surrender cover. But subscribed because of Taemin and SHINee! They’re my most favorite artists. Oh to travel back in time to SWC5 and SWC4! Frankly, I think SM should have a SHINee appreciation concert where the members can sit back while other SM artists see if they can belt it out live and dance like their pants are on fire like SHINee did in their prime. I would love to see who can do justice to Jong's parts.

This concert was SHINee's SHINee World Concert V (SWC5) in Seoul, so it was in 2016. You can tell this concert is in 2016 because Minho has gray, which means this was soon after their "1 Of 1" promotions. If you have seen their "1 Of 1" MV, you might recognize their looks and styles from that MV. Minho dyes his hair so infrequently, and each of the member's hairstyles usually change so dramatically for every comeback because of their effort to continually be trendy, that you often can tell what era something is part of just by the members' hair colors and styles. This was their 5th world tour -- and at this point they had already held more than 100 concerts in their career. So Onew and Jonghyun were about 26, Minho and Key were about 24 and Taemin was around 22. "Ring Ding Dong" was the opening song of that set. Right before this, Taemin had performed his song "Goodbye (Sayonara Hitori)" as a solo stage while the other members were getting changed, so if you notice, you don't see him in the beginning because it took him a little longer to get redressed. You see him pop up from underneath the stage and join them a few seconds into the performance. However, you can still hear Taemin's voice in the beginning because he was actually singing his lines while finishing getting ready from backstage. That's how good they are at what they do. They still give 110% no matter what, and sound perfect even while multitasking. ;) And, if you watch this full concert, you will see that this set is about 1 hour and 20 minutes into their 3 1/2 hour concert. If you think this performance was good, just wait until you see a full set or the full concert, kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYfSZXWnjd5gipo. :D They are impressive when you see them perform one song, but when you see how much passion and energy they use for a full set, and even a full concert, and still are able to maintain stable vocals while singing live the whole time, you will be even more blown away. If you are impressed with Jonghyun's long high note in "Lucifer," just wait. Jonghyun is known for his amazing vocal abilities that is why he is considered one of the BEST vocalists of all time. What you just heard is normal when it comes to Jonghyun, especially when he performs live. However, although Jonghyun has some impressive high notes, it doesn't even come close to what Onew can do. Check out Onew's performance of "Friend ," where he broke the record for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch, at 40+ seconds. All the members of SHINee can hit impressive high notes. Even Minho who is the main rapper and the one with the deepest voice out of all of them, has been known to hit some amazing high notes on occasion. SHINee are considered vocal powerhouses for a reason. As you may have noticed, what you just heard was the remixed version of "Ring Ding Dong" and "Lucifer." so that is why the songs sound different than the MV. SHINee never performs a song the same way twice, so it's always a new experience no matter how many times you have seen or heard them perform the song. That's why SHINee concerts are considered one of the best concerts in the world. SHINee live are always 300 times better than any of their studio recordings, and it's almost guaranteed that if someone doesn't vibe with one of their songs right away, the minute they see them perform it live, they gain a whole new appreciation for he song and it almost always becomes their new favorite. It's called the SHINee effect. That's why their live performances are considered the top in the industry. What you just experienced is why, even as rookies, SHINee was so highly respected by everyone, including their seniors. Even during rehearsals on music programs senior artists would stop everything they were doing to come and watch SHINee perform because their live vocal ability while performing intense choreography was something no one else was doing at the time, and people were blown away by how perfect their singing and harmonies were. Even still today, SHINee is the group that everyone looks up to and wants to be like. SHINee is known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing so they avoid it at all costs, so when you hear SHINee singing 95% of the time it will be live. They are known as CDINee or CD-eaters because they sound exactly the same live, if not better, than they do recorded. They have trained their entire career to be able to sing live and continue to sound flawless while performing extremely complex choreography for hours straight. SHINee are also one of the best ballad singers in the industry. They are one of the top groups for a reason, and they are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Once you get to know their voices you will always be able to pick them out of a crowd just by the sound of their voice. Most fans will tell you we know who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with our eyes closed, with them standing in a crowd of screaming fans. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of theirs. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop". SHINee live is unmatched and it's literally referred to as the SHINee standard. It's the standard that all other groups strive to reach and SHINee are the vocalists that all other artists try to emulate.

So cute 😊. Ring Ding Dong and Lucifer are my jams when house cleaning. I got a full SHINee playlist, Only SHINee gives me the rockin energy to clean lol.This is one of my favorite performances of these two songs. SHINee has five powerhouse vocalists!! No One does it like SHINee!

SHINee are such amazing live performers and they excel in so many things - performance, stage, choreography, and of course, vocals. It feels like a treat just getting to WITNESS them. They always give so much of themselves! Awesome that you noticed their ability to balance and pace themselves in order to put on an amazing show. There's a clip of them before performing at Tokyo Dome where they'e all incredibly nervous/excited to perform in front of so many people, but they remind one another to pace their energy! They really are professionals at their craft. I think It's part of what makes watching/seeing them live so satisfying, for sure. I'm going to immediately recommend checking out their live performances of 'Sherlock (Clue + Note)' (SWC IV 2015) and 'Everybody' (SHINee World 2014 ~I'm Your Boy~ special edition at Tokyo Dome) for some of their biggest/most jaw dropping moments live. Both have great audience participation, high energy, stunning vocals/choreo and of course SHINee showing off what seasoned performers they are! I think you might really enjoy both of them (Jonghyun, the one with the amazing long note and growly voice who you noticed, will no doubt also continue to impress you as well! I hope you can check his solo work out one day!) It's amazing how just watching SHINee can make you feel a little bit like you were there, right? I've been a fan for thirteen years and I've seen them live and I still feel that way, as well. :) SHINee are the kings of ballads for many. SHINee's ballads often bring me to tears and they are such a great show of their vocal abilities as a group. I also find they always feel so unique to SHINee and the color they bring to their music/performances. For ballads, I HAVE to put Sleepless Night (SHINee World III in Seoul or one with english subs, though I love how raw the vocals are for the SWC III performance - all are amazing though) at the very top. I sincerely hope you get a chance to check it out. It's such a moving performance (my favorite, actually). The vocals are just... I genuinely can't put them into words.

Ah I'm really happy to see you reacting to SHINee again and enjoying yourself so much. SHINee are best enjoyed live, that is for sure. It is a whole other experience seeing them in concert. They do have a lot of ballads, we can leave you some recs if you want us to. They are amazing vocalists and the best thing about them is that their strength is not only how good they sound individually but how good they sound when they sing and harmonize together. The queen Lucifer does have an MV so you can check it out if you'd like. The version they performed in this video is a remix so the song in the MV will be a liiitle different. Mostly the beat during the chorus.
