Jenn I’ve watched you since I was a young teen. It’s so amazing to look back at how you’ve continuously inspired and changed with me. When you were in your 20’s I was still young and anticipating the excitement of being able to go out with friends and enjoy life’s thrilling things with rambunctious energy. Now that I’m in my 20’s living that life I no longer am afraid of my 30’s and beyond because you’ve shown me the joy of settling with both a family and with yourself. Thank you so much for everything, I hope to continue growing with you. Truly sending all my love

The way you spoke about if you're feeling happier back when you're in your 20s or now, it really got me. I feel scared when I hit 30 and feel like I'll have regrets and didn't do much in my 20s. But you're right, it's like comparing them to oranges and apples. You really helped me think of it in a different perspective. Thank you, Jenn 💕

Everything you see is a lie lmaooo Ben's sarcasm is unmatched
Ben & Jenn made two very important points in this VLOG. " BEN: Things happen, it's how you react to them though. " ... and then "JENN: this looks like a fall look but I don't care because I love how Navy looks right now." The point is that fulfilment really comes from your mentality and how you appreciate the situations around you, and we don't have to live for others' expectations. Wow, what a paragraph. But I'm always here for their positive energy. *side note* Jenn's momma glow is unreal!

I'm only 21 and I feel like I'm wasting a lot of my time these days, of course with the pandemic, life had to take a pause for a bit, but I find that I feel like I'm missing out on all those fun 20s experiences. I understand that you don't have to have them to live a fulfilled life by any means, but I want to experience those nights getting drunk and going to the clubs. It just feels like whenever the people I know have those nights, I'm never around or I'm not invited, or when I am its last minute and I can't just drop everything and go out since I live further away from them whereas they all live very close by. It makes me feel really depressed that I'm not getting these experiences when all I really want right now is to have those fun moments. I know in my 30s it'll be different and I'll be happier with a calmer lifestyle, but I feel like I'll regret not having those moments that Jenn talked about, I already regret it right now, but I just don't know how to make those memories when I feel as if everyone around me is moving on to different things, and when they are having those moments I'm just not there. I feel like I need to find some new friends, but where I live its pretty hard considering my university has basically no social life, and being in my 4th year, most students I'm around are younger than me and I find it harder to connect with them, even if it is only a 2-year difference. Honestly, I feel like I find it hard to connect with a lot of people, I feel as if I'm only comfortable around those that didn't know me prior to a few years ago because I feel like I can actually show them someone I want to be or I am, rather than having the connotation that I'm the "nice girl" or whatever ideas people have about me. sorry for the long comment haha, but thanks for reading if you got this far :) Jenn's comments at the end of the video just got me thinking haha
@BillyWillows3 жыл бұрын
I've seen heaps of comments like this with the pandemic and I just want to reassure you and anyone else reading that your 20s is a LONG TIME. For example I'm 25 now, and there was no pandemic stopping me from going out to clubs when I was younger. Even so I didn't go out a lot. I was in a long term relationship, didn't drink much and didn't like the same music as my friends so when I did go out with them I didn't have fun. But I still felt left out when I wasn't invited other times. But THINGS CHANGE. A couple of years later I found different friends that I connected with really well and we had a few big nights out. Trust me, you only need a few nights out before it just gets more tiring than fun! And now my school friends and I go out together because all of our tastes have changed and we enjoy the same things now. TLDR a decade is such a long time! Don't worry if you're not "making the most of it" now, your time will come xxx

wow, your 4th year in university! keep going, you got this! you have so much more to look forward to! I understand, we may have "fomo" as folks call it today or feeling a bit lost. I was there. but continue to grow and work on yourself, for you will attract who you are! You will be blessed with amazing friends and you have a great future ahead! -just wanted to give you some hope
@jillresponte3 жыл бұрын
I know exactly how you feel. I often find myself stuck on the possibilities of what my life could have been right now if the pandemic never happened and my 20s slipping away is becoming more and more of a reality. You aren't alone! I'm trying to define for myself what it means to live this era to the fullest, instead of wishing I could live it the way I saw other people do, or the way my old self expected this time to be. If things aren't lining up with our visions, we can always work towards changing our trajectory, or changing the vision to something just as good but more accessible. Wishing you the best! xxx

I’m 29 and I’m fully tired of the twenties. I didn’t really enjoy most of it but I had all the very hard lessons and experiences I needed to have to become more ready for my next chapter, my next book. I still bring what and who I 1000% need from the past to the future, but I will absolutely dump whatever and whoever I don’t need right here at age 29 and as much room as I can for new adventures and key family members. I feel like I’ll be way more successful in the future because of the failures and setbacks I experienced in my twenties from dating to career. I am so damn different than I was 10 years ago. I hardly remember being 20. I just know I was college, that’s it. I wasn’t really that “alive” when I was more youthful. It really does creep up on you. I feel like I’m 75 and ready to basically sit my ass down somewhere like Captain America. I feel like I’ve lived a whole 50 lives. I’ll be entering 30 in August and I feel as satisfied and contented as if it were my 90th. I’d be entering a totally new age for myself. One that I’d feel truly blessed to see. I reflect and I feel like I get it, I understand the purpose of this life’s story, and the purpose of life itself. And for that I feel lucky, I feel special and gifted with wisdom and insight. I feel like that at 29.

I also agree that I am not afraid of the aging process. It's a new chapter with new experiences. 30s is definitely different from 20s. 20s was full of excitement in a big visual way. There was lots of energy and drama. Now that I'm turning 31 soon, I can say that I enjoyed the drama then but don't miss it now. I'm experiencing more things that are appropriate for our age,like mental and emotional growth and stability, peace with where i am in life, comfort in who I am. Sometimes when I talk to my best friend who is still stuck on wanting to be young and in fear of aging, I feel stressed for her. I think it's hard for her to accept that those times are over because she has a lot of regret and didn't feel like she lived her best 20s life. I hope people can focus on the present and living their fullest life now instead of being stuck on the past. That being said, I feel nostalgic occasionally but in a good way, knowing that I had those good times in the past.
