You can adjust pedal angle and PWm tiltback in the latest FW. Honestly it is all I need. I have Tesla T3 and I do not need any fancy stuff I really like how it rides. I also have V12HT and yes the display is awesome, especially the battery voltage and %, but Begode wheels just work great without any fancy settingss, it just works and fly :).

I dub my ex30 the Dodge Challenger Hellcat of EUCs. Like you said, its freakin brutal & punches so hard, its soooo much fun. The latest current race no dip FW brings it up another notch. Love riding my ex30 even on curvy bike pathways. Its even a hella fun on technical offroad as well. A handful due to its weight but fun nevertheless.
@CameronMassie Жыл бұрын
For sure! Haha hellcat is accurate. I’m excited that Begode is going to allow us to choose between voltage control and current control for the motor too. Thanks for commenting!

Best higher tier EUC on the market for the price. No doubt the newer masterpro v3, commander pro 50s, and etmax are the crème of the crop but are they worth $1k plus out the door price? Not in any chance.

How other manufacturers of ewheels will react to overcome Begodes selling advantage next year will be something to behold. Woodgatake 50s Modular batteries? Woodgatake a higher torqueing more powerfull mountain climbing ewheel? Woodgatake an ewheel with more connectivity? A better speaker? an improved application that uses a cloud managed by the manufactuer? Will the newer wheel be more Robust, faster, built stronger with newer capabilities?The future of ewheels is going to be an exciting one fer sure...

You say it’s specked out in certain areas but lacking in others. Can you be more specific? What is it lacking?
@CameronMassie Жыл бұрын
Compared to wheels from inmotion, there are many creature comforts lacking. From an interaction design perspective it’s a nightmare just like every other Begode. The communication from the wheel is nothing but beeps. The firmware update process is excruciating and you will frequently hear of users trying to find ways to shut it up. The spin kill button has been inconsistent on all modern begodes. Also there’s no way to adjust settings without an app connection. Charge ports are still hot which is a safety hazard. Lack of temperature sensors in motor and elsewhere. No smart bms. The inmotion wheels and even kingsong feel a lot more thought out as a full product rather than an enthusiast beta product.

Cool leaf kick: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6TZg2SwrtB1f7M . My 3rd-batch Sherman S is out for delivery for the second day. Considered EX30 but put off by the me-too-ism of the suspension borrowing, the amount of patching/mods apparently necessary to make it work well, and the brutal/mean/muscle-car vibe, both in specs and looks. Brief time with Patton told me I really just want a cruiser, long range with butter suspension and good build.

love that, yea I was a huge fan of how the commander pro felt in comparison to the ex30, just so much friendlier and playful and buttery. Thanks for the comment!

Perfect zombie wheel for Portland.

The scene is set in a dusty, dystopian future. A power scavenger, clad in a tangle of lights, wires, and batteries, shields their face from the relentless wind. They glance down at their wrist, adorned with a retro-futurist computer. The charging process is almost complete, but the ominous atmosphere of the alley urges them to consider leaving sooner than anticipated. Unease settles within them as they can't shake off the eerie feeling of this place. Suddenly, a shout pierces through the air, jolting the scavenger out of their thoughts. Their eyes dart around, but all they can discern are faint shadows dancing through the gusts of windblown dust. With a swift motion, they tug on the silver power cord, initiating a mechanical whir as gears retract the cable into their portable power pack. In the distance, a metallic clang echoes as something is knocked over, triggering the scavenger's senses. Fingers inch closer to the crowbar resting at their hip. "How in the name of the fallen did they manage to come this far?" they mutter, their voice barely audible amidst the swirling tempest. The scavenger's mind races, contemplating the dangers lurking in the alley and the need for swift action. A zombie emerges from the haze, running, its decaying features contorted into a hideous grimace, the scavenger's instincts kick into high gear. They swing the iron with all their might, connecting with the creature's skull and sending it crashing to the ground. But more zombies are closing in, their hunger-fueled moans growing louder, their erratic movements more frenzied.Panic floods the scavenger's veins, their heart pounding in their chest. It's a race against time. Swiftly, they rip the iron from the zombie skull, their knuckles turning white. With determination etched on their face, they take a step backward, preparing to flee from this perilous trap. However, the wind-whipped dust and debris seem to conspire against them, hindering their vision and sapping their strength. The scavenger's heart pounds as they spot the zombies closing in, their hungry moans growing louder by the second. Without wasting another moment, they make a mad dash towards their wheel, hidden in the alley. The unicycle, a symbol of salvation amidst the chaos, stands gleaming with untapped potential. kicking the pedals open, the scavenger activates the electric motor, its hum drowning out the haunting sounds of the undead. With a swift kick, they propel themselves forward, their adrenaline surging as they navigate the treacherous terrain. The unicycle's powerful wheel tears through the debris-laden streets, leaving a trail of dust and desperation behind. The scavenger rides with agility, narrowly evading grasping hands and rotting teeth. The unicycle becomes an extension of their body, a weapon against the encroaching darkness. As the wind whips against their face, the scavenger's determination intensifies. They refuse to succumb to the zombie-ridden world that surrounds them. Their eyes fixate on the distant horizon, where whispers of a sanctuary persist-a flicker of hope in a sea of despair.

The EX30 is not the best wheel for off road riding. The EX30 is not the best wheel for pump track. The EX30 is not the best wheel with the stock tire. The EX30 is the best wheel for the road with a propper street tire. But not for very long rides.
@CameronMassie Жыл бұрын
Love it! You’re absolutely right. Thanks for the comment!
@tremartin4727 Жыл бұрын
Not for very long rides ? Easily went on a 60 plus mile ride no issue and had 3 bars left .. if you pushing it 45 mph or faster of course you will drain the battery even on the master pro V2
@tremartin4727 Жыл бұрын
Master pro is top heavy every one has there own preferences I been on the v13 the master pro and own the ex30 the v13 might swm heavy but not hard to ride the master pro to me wants to just go straight until you get used to it and it leans over to the left or right cause it's top heavy
@tremartin4727 Жыл бұрын
The master pro might have the biggest battery out of all euc's but the battery drains just as fast as all the other ones if you actually pushing it at high speeds
@tremartin4727 Жыл бұрын
Also the master pro is not a nibble wheel not great for trail riding due to how heavy it is but it's a great wheel none the less but there are wheels that are more nibble and wheels that are just as fast as the V2 that can give you enough range I wouldn't go for the master pro just for the battery there are other things to factor in also
