If I'm not incorrect, the silicon washers are mainly to seal mobo cover from moisture ingress. Ofcos it'll also provide a bit of shock protection as well. Far's additional thermal paste, I'm unsure why reapplication is needed. If it isnt overheating, I'd say its not needed but for sure, its good to know if ever temps are excessively high. This all started when we had 2 Masters and a Master Pro burn up motherboards and Roger was looking for a cause. This issue turned up as a possibility.

what was the temperature that you decided to replace this paste? Was the ex30 overheating? What is the voltage of your Ex30 after 100% charge? Is there a problem with the battery?

My EX30 is fine. Just doing this as a preventive. He charges to 134.4v. No problems here and looking to keep it that way!

Nice video but you forgot to put the o-rings back on the charging ports under the top cover. Also it it very weird to see a reversed video and see unscrewing going clockwise . loll

I save my little powder container to hold screws that I take off. I have all different sized magnetic trays and bowls for that, but they are in the garage with motorcycle stuff

Non conductive one, you know. Because it's important for ompletely isolated aluminum plate to not conduct nothing to the frame
