Headband wigs are good but eventually your edges thin due to the manipulation at the front and the headband constantly rubbing on them when putting the wig on. It’s just a matter of being extremely careful.

I wear wigs once or twice a month and there is no noticeable effect on my thick hairline. What you do have to do is take out the combs. The combs took my sister's fragile edges out. Wearing a satin lined cap, satin headband or a satin or silicone wig grip will protect you hair. Then to secure the wig use the elastic strap and/or Bobby pins or hijabi pins and rotate where you place them. I don't advocate wearing a wig everyday because some of us ain't got that strong strong hairline. My hairline is pretty strong but yes wigs thinned it out. Nobody noticed but me. But now I reduced my wig wearing (at first as an experiment), my edges be touching my eyebrows! Literally over an inch long.

You have to be so careful on Amazon. A lot of those wigs claiming to be human hair but aren’t. If it’s sold directly through Amazon you can get your money back easy but who wants to be sold a fraud in the first place? Amazon is letting any and all the Chinese sell anything. You have to do a burn test on most of those hair companies product to ensure it’s not plastic hair. At least we’ve heard of Better Length and you can pay using PayPal so in case there’s an issue you can file a dispute. Buyer beware.

The one I enjoyed the most was the premier lace wigs unit I reviewed I think late 2018. That one was nice! Only thing with that one is the lace was real orange but I believe they have since corrected that issue.
