Good TV, and the in ring work still works and makes sense! I would say no. And I honestly think the best thing to happen at Bad Blood is a NO CONTEST. It keeps Punk in a good spot, not putting him OVER Drew. I think it makes sense for how personal the rivalry has become. still though because I think it’s also imortant to keep Drew an intense and dangerous character. With this hopefully (not right away) they have a mutual respect for each other in the future.

People cheer for heels they like as heels anyway. Roman as a heel was cheered. It takes a special type of heel to get genuine heel heat that is a positive thing and not fans genuinely just hating them like how they hated Roman as a babyface. This is why u give tons of credit to The Miz, he is a great heel that can generate real heal heat without actually being hated by fans.

If they go the NWO route they wouldn’t be a problem. The NWO were heels, but fans couldn’t help but love them and think they were cool, so often they were rooting for the NWO and buying their shirts. Although I do think it’s too late for a heel turn. At this point I think it’s best he just ends off his career doing what he does best. I'll just defend my hot take though: Raw going back to the 2 hours now for the next months would be terrible as less talent would be featured in the show. Most matches and segments would have less minutes, and some might end up being completely taken out of show which might hurt the stories they're telling if they're only appearing every other week or 2 weeks. Another solution could be SmackDown being a 3-hour show since The Bloodline takes most of the TV time in SmackDown and some talent could be featured on SmackDown instead of Raw if they're making 2-hour Raw a permanent thing.

I watched wrestling from the mid 90s through to casually around 2019 and while I only keep an eye what’s happening (because I both obviously outgrew it years ago and it started being average around 2010) I used to always gauge how good a period was v wCw 1996-1999 (when wrestling was at its best in my opinion) - I remember the nWo very well and, aside from when it got ridiculously big and that silly nWo Wolfpac-thing (hated that) I remember the nWo worked best because you had no idea what was going to happen each week. Hogan turned heel and, because the internet was basically not a huge thing at the time, it blew everyone’s mind to see. That’s all been ruined today because KZbin says, “hey this is going to happen - Cena’s doing the Hogan thing soon probably” So now, if Cena does that, you’ll get endless eye rolling and “he’s just trying to be Hogan”, “been there, done that”-isms and the like. I suspect WWE would realise this and, while they’d probably do that anyway, there is another scenario I suspect might happen: I think they’ll have a Survivor Series-type match at Wrestlemania between a team with the nWo suspect minus Cena (ie Orton, possibly Punk and a couple of heel mid carders) v Cena and a few true blue good guys. People will be like, “ooh wow here comes nWo Cena”, Cena will be eliminated midway, but linger outside the ring, one face wrestler will be left with Orton and Punk. The face wrestler will be thrashed and lying in the ring with Orton and Punk set to do nasty things to him, Cena will seem like the last hope as he re enters the ring presumably to help the floored face wrestler. And just as everyone thinks Cena will drop his 5 knuckle shuffle on the good guy on the ground, recreating Hogan in 96, and just as Cena and Orton begin to look friendly at Cena, the guy on the mat (who’ll be some other big name face) will get up suddenly and drop Cena revealing he’s actually the third guy. I mean I would hope something like that would happen because the John Cena nWo thing has been rumoured for years and it’d be a complete anti climax if WWE just copied the wCw 1996 formula.

All I'm gonna say I agree with the hot take that there won't be enough time for the top talent let alone the midcard on raw. (I base top talent on loud reactions) We have Gunther, Jey, CM Punk, Drew, Damian, Rhea, Seth (When he returns), Sami (Yes I consider him top talent.), Dom, and The Judgement day and Wyatt Sicks (They get loud enough reactions for me to consider them top talent already). Then Also have to squeeze in the midcard Ilja, Bron, Braun, Bronson, hell even Dragon Lee and Rey and The LWO (who except for dragon lee I barley consider midcarders). Then We have Vingettes, Promos and Segments to still fit in and Commercial Breaks, Which we ALL know WWE isn't going to reduce those for more time for the talent. So What the fuck. Even if Half went the smackdown. That wouldn't fix the problem lol. WWE has a lot of people, DEFINETLY not as much as AEW has, But still. Even splitting the rosters would still leave a fuck ton of people of the shows. That and Well you kind of didn't even give a solution to the problem he posed. As like I stated even cutting the roster in half and sharing them between both shows wouldn't be enough time for everyone important.

I completely disagree with Rock VS Roman main eventing Night 2 as that should be reserved for the Undisputed or World Championship vs the Royal Rumble winner. It's been like this ever since WrestleMania became a 2 nighter. If the old regime didn't do that for 2 night WMs, why should the new one? They shouldn't drop that concept again just because it's Roman and The Rock without the WWE title, and I personally have had enough of the disrespect the Rumble winners get from the previous decade (2010s). Now I wouldn't have them open, but it either should be the second to last match of Night 2 or Main Event Night 1. Night 2 Main Event to me should ALWAYS be about the WWE or World title match.
