Let's be extremely honest here: Maintaining the sacred songs of ancient Terra would absolutely be a thing that a chapter would do. The Blood Angels make sculptures and paint. Why wouldn't a chapter practice song and dance? Why not sing ancient songs of fortitude in battle? Or of victory, battle, and glory? They'd all be singing this as the battle-song, and after wards?
