13:15 The OnePlus has MANY options to calibrate the display so you can fine tune it to be accurate. Most iPhone users wouldn’t know that because there are NO display calibration settings in an iPhone. EDIT: Ok he eventually found the settings at the end of the video. Lol

I'm strongly considerring this for my next phone. I had a Oneplus6T for a couple of years and it was an incredible phone for the money. Oneplus OS is very good. I felt it was quite close to pure android, but with some really smart enhancements.

@@lee__1707 not so much, I didn't notice significant performance difference on 12R, I managed to sell it for 300 euros so the upgrade cost me 320, kind of OK but mostly for the battery, I'm very satisfied with 12Rs battery. You can try replacing the battery in 9 pro.

My daughter has iphone 13. I have been using the 12 R for 6 weeks. We have taken photos of the same sibject. I find my 12 R to actually take a shot more as the naked eye sees things and her iphone adds coloring which can be nice but it is not what the eye sees. Bad eyes?🤔😀This 12R is super. Great battery and charges fast! Super fast!

Keyboard seems to be more accurate in my experience and alot snappier on s24 ultra. Iphone 13 can lag sometimes I'd say the autocorrect on samsung keyboard is worse than iphone tho. But it's funny how even the latest iphone and mine lag in subway surfers and sonic dash but my s24 ultra doesn't lol and these two came out like 10 plus years ago lol

A charger in the box.. 2.That charges waaay faster than any one youd have to buy for iphone 3.better battery life 4.a faster processor for gaming 5.120 fps 6.brighter screen 7.decent camera 8.All for a FORTH the price of the iphone smh People only pay more to have an iPhone to be in their ecosystem for the iMessages and I guess a "cool factor" of having something everybody has.. it's really quite ridiculous actually

Because they release new phones every year but one in their right mind should be upgrading every year, there's zero reason to - the upgrades are smaller and smaller, the price is more stupid with each release. Apple and Samsung have such slow charging speed. It's incredibly frustrating at this point. People say it preserves the battery and that's not a reason not to include fast charging though... you can always use a slow charger if you want. Apple Samsung and Google need to catch up with OnePlus and Oppo and Xiaomi and Huawei etc

Its a technological limitation. Samsung and Apple use Li-ion batteries everyone else uses Li-Po. Li-Po are cheaper, safer, cooler and thats why they are easier to fast charge but they have on average 50% the total cycle count compared to Li-ion. If anything though Samsung especially should know that their preference for this battery really affect their phones with their swelling within 3 years and explosion problems in the past.

Comment from someone trying to move from a flip phone to a smartphone. The real fear of buying a OnePlus 12R is the lack of a printable reference manual. The PDFs on the company's website are not paginated for reference, either for the 12R or for the Oxygen 14 OS. KZbin videos can only go so far--but not for someone learning a new style of phone. To further aggravate a potential buyer, OnePlus USA doesn't have any kind of e-mail mechanism whereby one could start a thread answering questions and concerns.

OnePlus user here. You can access the red cable club from the settings. It will link you to forums and customer service. You can chat with them if you have any inquiries. Haven't used that feature yet because the user interface is very intuitive... Or perhaps I'm just so used to OnePlus. Just explore the settings and tweak it to your liking.

@@TechGuyBeau I don't like the word u will get use to it, that's the first word u gonna heard from iphone users when u buy the first iphone, I don't like that apple made phones in the way they like, Android phone companies made it based on customer needs (aka Huawei) #note with all this enormous huge size the battery should be 6,000 milliamp at least let users use the phone for 3 days on the row why not, the Chinese phone is not better to have it, and what about screen dimming issues under the sunlight and with playing games u can't play for 30 minutes without extreme hot and screen dimming what the point of strong processor if you can't do anything with it, also make back gestures simple like Android, you can go back from left or right in all apps and menus no matter what, also you should support installing apps from outside of Apple store like everybody else give me more choices why not, put the charger in the box and make it fast 30 minutes for full charge at least we are in 2024' it's not that hard thing to do give people what they want bad apple

So they didn't improve typing experience on ios. I remember it was really bad. Didn't use for a long time, but have some shitty Samsung s10 work phone, I found out that it must be touch refresh rate that is bad, typing experience or using it fast brings like misclicks, it's just terrible experience.

I thought I had these issues on my 14 pro. The best keyboard I believe is of Samsung always registers correctly. On my one plus I use SwiftKey it's okay but not good as Samsung keyboard. When I switch to ios it's terrible to type on it idk why

Very slow scrolling is a deal breaker for me. No idea how to fix it. I will probably have to return it. Plenty of comments about it on Reddit but no guru will tell you about it.
