I agree with Mercari having issues. I have been disappointed with them for a while. WOW! You have a lot of things you want to do. I hope you accomplish all of them. I really enjoy your videos and guidance in reselling. I know time will be limited, but please continue to share with us.

@@SandraTheMomBoss Due to saturation. It used to be sort of rare 2yrs ago. Manufacturer put a LOT of $$ into advertising then pumped out a TON of product.

Congratulations on your new baby!! Your sales are definitely goals for me. I also have given up picking up low hanging fruit. I entertained leaving mercari as well, then boom I make a lot of sales. So it’s so difficult for me to cut them off 😅 2023 kicked off kind of slow for me, just had my son in December so I had to slowly get back to reselling in January and it took a while for everything to fall back in line for me.

Hi Sandra - I have been learning a lot from you. I just started crosslisting with EBay and Mercari and Poshmark. Maybe you can help me. How do you deal when you sold an item in eBay and you are not able to delish the sold item in Poshmark because there are active offers on the item sold ? I tried to reach out to the likers in Poshmark to decline the offer they receive so I can delete the item from the list. Unfortunately, I do not get any response from the likers. Have this happened to you? How do you resolve the issue. I am so worried of double selling the item to several buyers. Thanks for your time in sharing so many great things with us.

January was super slow for me after ending 2022 really well, but February has started out FANTASTIC! I agree with Mercari just not be worth the hassle. I completely dropped that platform as well. As always, your videos are super informative and helpful! Good luck with his last lap in your pregnancy!

I’ll be interested in seeing if you like depop if/when you try it. I LOVE vintage (despite if being less predictable than more current items) so i gave depop a shot but ended up delisting everything after about 6 months. In that time i made exactly 1 sale, and It just didn’t fit well in my business structure. Their shipping is awful, and I don’t have the time to deal with that particular platform’s nuances. I’m glad it works well for some, but I am not one of them! Ebay, Posh and (for now at least…) mercari are all I mess with. Excited for you, being so close to baby time! Enjoy each perfect and imperfect moment ❤

Great sales! I’m curious how many items you currently have in your inventory to reach those numbers? I notice weekends are definitely my best sale times! I have around 700 listed now, my goal is 2000 by the end of the year!

Agree. With Mercari you have to post everyday or it dies really fast. I'm still sticking to it because I do get the occasional sale. Good luck with your nesting phase. May it all go smoothly.

Mercari sales really dropped! They updated the site and now things are not working well.. I used to get notified if someone liked an item but not anymore! You do great on posh.. I’ve never done much at all..

Mercari has been terrible for me. I've made one sale in almost 2 months. The sale that I made was super low and I was just trying to get things moving but that def didn't work. If it don't pick up soon I will try another platform.

The same for me with Mercari. I had high hopes for them. Last year I stopped selling on FB marketplace which was amazing for me 2 years ago.

Hi Sandra! Congrats on the baby on the way! You don't even look pregnant from our view. Lol. It sure sounds like you are nesting with all of the projects you have planned. I hope you get them accomplished before the baby arrives. I wanted to give you my 2 cents worth on my 6-month experience with Depop. I have sold 7 items. I have received multiple offers on items and accepted them. On Depop, they have 24 hours to pay and hardly anyone ever pays which is very aggravating. Also, in my opinion, it seems like an app for the younger generation. My biggest complaint is that the shipping is really expensive for anything over 1 lb. If the item weighs less than 2 lb, it costs $12.25. Then there is a big jump to an item weighing less than 10 lb, and it costs $16.15. So most of the boots that we sell would ship for the higher amount. I am going to try to post more lightweight items and see if I do any better. I just wanted to give you something to consider about Depop. I hope I haven't burst your bubble about it. Thanks so much for the time and effort you put into your videos. I always enjoy them.
