If you grab the "take no damage" scroll, you can safely smack the owl.... bird.. thing.. at least once. If I recall there's a reward for smacking it and surviving.

Been playin this game for bout a year now, one thing you learn is to take items that have positive stats no matter what even if it’s books 📕 it lets you get more options and pathways. Also the game has “classes” or routes you can go for certain builds, ie- poison, pertificaton, freeze, explosions, clarity, health ect

Just my 2 cents but maybe look at the board before rushing around. The amount of loot goblins you miss is insane

one strat I always use is trying to only look at stats till I find a wishful shrine (let's you delete, lose effects keep stats) to get a huge boost and focus on effects when higher quality items show up later, makes items with bad effects for balance high tier too.

I too always try to seek item combos and sets but all the runs I win are runs where I balance my stats and not focus on one. Sadly kinda brings down the roguelike spirit but it is still an amazing game, keep up the good content

There is a game, maybe you could find. It may be a little older than you. Idk. It was called Mordor I believe. It was a very old PC game. Just squares with, like playing d&d on paper. Yo I had classes, and lots of races. I wish I could find it, but it’s so old. Would be a great dungeon crawl game to find and play. The graphics are very boring. It’s like 1990s era. But such a good dungeon crawl, maybe rogue like game. For its era. Even if you dudes die. Yo I can just make a new one. Transfer you old gear. If you can make it back to the first floor.
