One thing I can say, when you say dead; you mean it. Most people mean leaf drop, crispy leaves, loss of color in the leaves. As you stated, sime of these were dead beyond recognition, their own mother plants would not have recognized them.

Just hate when plants just look shitty and thrips get comming back no matter what you do. Also pest prevention is overwhelming when one has a lot of pants and all should be taken care of to properly get rid of them. Treat your plants on time! Plants that I'm saddest for are my calatheas. This came to me at the right time. We moved several months ago from a perfect indirect sun to a swampy and damp area with bright light. It’s an old apt with some plaster walls which added to the dampness. I have lost most of my philodendrons but my allocasias apparently like the rain forest. So sad…I run 2 dehumidifiers, fans and a/c when needed. It’s taken me months and following the weather forecasts to know how much and when to water. Thank you for your continued knowledge and support. 💚🖤💚
