It's been a rough two years of isolation on Lonely Farm, but now that we have the greenhouse and the potential for more animal companions, I'm looking forward to year three more than ever! It also makes sense that we shunned human interactions at the community center for the allure of cold hard cash at Joja Mart.

I’ve started doing this challenge too! 😄 Except I allow myself to leave only on the last day of every season. It’s been a pretty fun way of playing the game tbh, takes some planning

It's interesting you pick the last day of the season, when most seeds won't be of much use to you in the first year. I'd love to hear updates of how it goes for you.

@@Marialla. well I bought strawberries hahha it’s mostly to try to befriend the villagers so they send me stuff by mail and to break the monotony

@@audreyl606 FWIW, I just remembered that you cannot gift villagers at festivals but you can if you find them walking around. That would help maintain your friendships much better. I'll be interested to hear how that goes for you! BTW, do you enjoy growing wild forage or fishing on these days off?

1)There is a secret fishing spot at the bottom of the beach farm, where you can fish up a present and then normal fish 2) You should've upgraded your house on that one day you leave the farm. You'd have more posibble drops from crates 3) You could try clay farming or snow jams and roots farming 4) I love your videos :33

Don't cut weeds until last day of the season. More mixed seeds. Get rid of the grass for more space for weeds to spawn.

whats funny about jack the scarecrow is that crows don't show up if you have less than 15 crops. also if you leave a few plants, rocks and branches, they spread, so you could have renewable mixed seeds by letting just the plants spread

I'm really enjoying this series you've put together! A lot of unique challenges present themselves when you're stuck on the farm with a (clearly sentient) scarecrow. You've also edited this beautifully, and done a great job of keeping the videos in this series entertaining, in spite of the gameplay not having as much variety as a typical Stardew playthrough. I think you have inspired me to try this challenge for myself as well :) I'm excited to see the future of Lonely farm!

I never saw the first video for this, but I wanted to apologize and let you know that four corners farm let's you get a guaranteed 2-8 mixed seeds EVERY DAY. This makes the challenge MUCH more bearable. It also has a small quarry for mining exp, a pond for fishing, and of couse, area for trees and crops.

To bad you did not at least do to the Egg hunt where you could go get the Strawberry seeds & at least each season have 1 day to go get seeds to grow. If you could ever get the seed maker you could make more seeds after that.& I hope you get the enchant see from fishing soon & don't forget to bring it to the museum to get a seed packet to start growing them. I feel you should be allowed 1 Egg Fest you can go to just to get the Strawberry. Now that you have the green house. Just the 1 time to get the Strawberry's only.

I've started this challenge too on the beach farm. I even do the ceremonial box dance when one washes ashore and sing the tune while doing it. My cat thinks I'm crazy, I'm sure. When it started to get too monotonous, I switch back to one of my other farms so I don't burn out. 😂

Slip, slop, slap and wrap is a New Zealand thing, in Australia it’s slip, slop, slap, seek and slide. Slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen, slap on a hat, seek shade and slide on sunglasses
