@@norgedout no problem mild spoilers ahead As the story continues on you realize that the that premise is only the A plot, the B plot is that a majority of the the other worlders (that’s what they call the people who got isekai into this world) have started to reign terror on the world due to all of them being isekai after suffering miserable lives in their old world, wanting to used this world as their way of escapism, not help by the corrupt church flawed teachings,While Sensey tries to find Sac chan along the way he and his party encounter many of those other worlders using their wit, strength, wisdom and Sensey’s special abilities, they slowly take down the threats and Sensey gives some of his enemies the wisdom they need to become better people. That’s just only a taste of what yet to come, so I’ll keep it at that for now.

No part of this is funny to me. it's kind of morally disgusting. They're making light of his tragic life by making an isekai out of it. No attempt was made to actually write for the character properly despite his intentions and motivations being painfully clear in the book. The fact that they're doing it at all is gross, even more so is the fact that the character has been reduced to suicidal comedic relief.

I don’t believe it- a show where they actually acknowledged the significance of the Truck in Isekai stories! … though to be honest I’ve actually “kept score” when it comes to Isekai; shockingly, when you look at the genre as a whole, the one called “Truck Kun” is actually quite rare. Not only is the magic circle summoning more common, but there are lots of other forms of death/summoning these days; love the creativity of authors these days

I’m not sure how well known this is, but the protagonist is very clearly based on the real-life Japanese author: osamu dazai. The show is named after one his most famous books, no longer human, and the protagonist says some of its famous lines. You may know them from bungo stray dogs. I’d recommend either if you’re interested.

The shoes are called getas if I remember correctly. They're more common with traditional Japanese clothing. You all should consider adding something that immediately lets people know if something is subbed or dubbed before they click on it. It REALLY sucks to be really far down the list just to click on something to see if its dubbed, only to have to start all the way back at the beginning of the list when its not dubbed. When I want to read a story I read a book. When I want to watch a story I dont want to be distracted by having to read subtitles forcing me to miss out on most of everything happening on the screen. This is literally the sole reason why I will not be renewing my subscription for Crunchyroll after my current sub expires. Or at the very least allow us to be able to go back to the same spot we were on before clicking on a show so that we dont have to waste so much time going through a list we have already had to go through several times already just to be disappointed and be forced to do it yet again.
