Nico's issues are that he is young, and male. He is just out of kittenhood himself, so is full of energy and lacks restraint. Male cats don't normally have much to do with kittens, and in feral cat colonies males will kill and eat kittens, especially very small ones. I am not suggesting Nico will do this, but he certainly has decided his tiny relatives are toys for his amusement. If he is left unsupervised with the kittens, his fierce play will almost certainly end up injuring them. You can see this by the fierce way he bites their mother, Lili. It's a pity he has become so fixated on Lili and the kittens: he'd be better off expending his energy playing with Charo, who is closer to his age!

Charo is an adult cat at this point, Nico is stuck in an awkward age range where the new kittens are way too young and Charo is old enough to have lost her kitten energy. He has no one to play with and nothing to do with the other cats so Lili and her new kittens are the most interesting part of his life.

ニコちゃんは悪くないですよ…手伝い方もわからないしリリに甘えたいからこんな乱暴な感じになってるだけで。 まだ1歳にもなってないので、小学生に首座ったばかりの子のお世話は任せられないのと同じです わからないからもしおっぱい飲んだらいけないならダメ！って箱から出すor違う部屋で遊ばせる、赤ちゃんに荒っぽい行動したら違う場所に連れていく、そうしないと中途半端なことすると（おっぱいから離すけどそれだけ、赤ちゃん弄ってても口で注意するだけ）飼い主に意地悪されてるだけだと思って言うこと聞かないわがままな子になっちゃいます。 人間と同じですもん。 私双子産んだばかりでやっと首座ったーぐらいの子の子育て中に実の兄弟に暴れ回る甥っ子預けられたら半狂乱になると思う

Feel sorry for him. Nico has a lot of energy but no real challengers. He has no active playmates. The female cats don't do much. If they do then they they're pregnant or caring for their kittens. Plus they're constantly in a room so i can imagine that Nico could be very bored. So, so glad that my cats were able to run around in my garden. Even with their kittens.

いや、まだベビーですよ。人間でいうと10歳前後とかの しかも実親が親離れをサッと素早くしてしまってまだ甘えたいのに甘えられない、優しくしてくれるおばさんにベッタリになるのはしょうがないですよ おばさんのお手伝いしよう！ってどうしたらいいか分からないけれど何となく真似てやってみよー！褒めてもらおーって感じだと思います ちゃんとダメなことはダメ！と教えたり、おっぱいの時は違う部屋で主様が遊ばせる、もしくは遊べるおもちゃをたくさん置くなどして学ばせればいいんだと思います

Nico is playful in nature but there could be jealousy and he wants Lilis milk which is not for him I feel he needs to be kept an eye on but I think that's what you are doing. Nico is a kitten but he's the only male so he might be feeling Alfa Male and these two kittens aren't fathered by him so maybe he feels threatened . It sounds crazy I know but Lions who haven't fathered cubs will kill cubs that aren't theirs so they can father their own cubs in a Pride sorry my words are so harsh but big cats and small belong to Cat Family . Domesticated cats and wild cats on the Savannah are different it's true but who knows some tendencies may still in a tiny way remain . Nico is just an older toddler, not really interested in the young ones. More interested in looking for cat things to do, as a part of growing up. Most everyone seems to be just laying around. There is not much to observe, except for the mothering of the babies. Unfortunately this cannot be explained to Nico, so he feels a bit lost. But the human guardian is there to reassure, and to play with Nico. When Nico was born the home only had older cats, and the tall human cat who was the kindest one. Soon after, Lili and Mimi became pregnant. They were in particular not so pleasant. Charo the youngest other cat was the only non- grouch (❌😾).

@@LS-pd6gy I think he means at the time of this video that Mimi was in another room with her kittens already born. I have no idea how much this is being dragged out or short circuited. If the kittens are 3 or 4 weeks old in this video Mimi may still be pregnant. I don't think we know when In Jan these 2 were born.
