Andrews, NC, has a very relaxing feel. "That guy keeps following me right there." Yep, he does and all the time except when you are driving Rev. He looks like he could be a very nice person. Next time you see him, say hello. I enjoyed this walk and talk, Timothy. GOD bless!

No, I did not think that at all. I love hearing from people who live in the areas I visit. 👍

The thing about WNC, is that the further west you go towards the border with TN, the less developed and polished the towns are. There is less medical care. Less of everything. It's good for people who want to get away from everyone. On the other hand, there are downsides. I briefly lived outside of Murphy over 20 years agoe and the town didn't even want to fund the Humane Society. Locals used to treat animals so horribly, though I believe it's gotten a lot better because newcomers made it so.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge of the area, Lorri. My Murphy video will be dropping this Saturday and it has definitely changed over the las 20 years with all the new people moving into the area like you said.

@lorrilewis2178 I will be going to Highlands but not Cashiers. In this video series I’m only filming incorporated municipalities.

I once spent the night in the Andrews jail...I wasn't under arrest, I just had zero transportation available that evening (the snow didn't help)...the police were nice enough to let me be sheltered...that is the sum of my Andrews experiences...
