Thank you for visiting Hillsborough. My family and I have lived here for 14 years. We love it. Lots of friendly people, nice businesses, very convenient to larger cities. Only negative, traffic and population has outgrown the infrastructure.

@@TimothyFrenchJust one thing to add: you mentioned Dual Supply. They’ve been in Hillsborough more than 40 years. Run by the Woods family (Jeff is there now, his dad bought/started the original.) They are so helpful-have all kinds of old fashioned things plus a great place for hardware.

Really enjoying watching all your videos as we consider a move to North Carolina :) we love your commentary and filming style. We were getting tired of watching people just film themselves while touring a town, or, filming with no explanation and just music. Thanks for sharing your travels with us!

15:05 They were defeated on my sister’s birthday and hanged on my Dad’s birthday. That’s creepy to think

I grew up there, spent 18 years of my childhood there and then another two in my twenties before moving for good. Many of my relatives live there still. It’s always been just a small town with not very much in it but a lot of history there. It’s an everybody knows everybody type of town. You should’ve made your way over to the south end , that’s where all of the grocery shopping and eating places are. Then over on west end side there’s Eno mountain ,the railroad, the river,a BBQ place and a brewery and a few more things ,I heard a walking path and other park was put over that way. Then if you go to the east side that’s where the high school and a few other shops are. But yep that’s pretty much it to it.
