I find your videos to be truly inspiring. I’m an artist in Brooklyn who takes on a variety of mediums, and since the pandemic I’ve found sewing gratifies my soul. I learned the basics at 10 years old and never mastered the craft. With all the free time now I have invested more in supplies and organizing my space so this can be a permanent part of my life. I want to learn from you. I am so glad I found you! I’m now binge watching everything! I want to visit that fabric store. What is the price range of the sheer lace? Is it the same as Mood? Fulton Fabrics has reasonable prices, but no lace. Please upload videos every week. 🙏🏽♥️

This is my first visit to your channel, but I am subscribing! Loving your video! Such beautiful fabrics! Would love to see them include a pocket for adding a filter or even being able to tuck in a disposable mask just to have that extra layer of protection. Loved the adding of the third layer of cotton on the first one you showed us. Cotton, especially quilting fabrics, because they are closely woven make a great mask. There is now also a company making fabric specifically designed for masks called Filti. It’s non woven nano-fibers and is supposedly much better at capturing the smaller particles. Anyway, looking forward to more videos and seeing more of your designs. Just wanted to comment on the hand washing: First of all, kudos for taking time to do it right! The lathering up is the key! So many are too quick to rinse. Very important for keeping things clean! One thing to improve: Remove rings before washing. You can give them a swish, too, but you want to make sure nothing is left under them. I find using a nail brush can also help insure you get under the nails. But I like that you do such a careful job of washing! Inspires confidence in the safety of your products. Have seen others advise wearing a mask while making masks as an added precaution.

Daniela I love your fabrics and mask and your super creative ideas for mask. I would like to suggest you use a better filter than muslin. There is a fabric called Oly fun fabric it is very light weight non woven fabric. You can’t iron it but who would iron one of your beautiful mask. Also try the pattern Jesse Killion. It is free online I think the lines in it would accentuate your beautiful eyes. You are amazing! I just found you and will be watching more. I watch all mask videos. I wish we had a store like the one you went to. So amazing. I have made thousands of mask.

I'm making masks as well. Have been working for over a month now to get stock before adding them online but I'm glad to see that my process is pretty similar. One question...do you ask for measurements from your clients? Because I feel that the ear placement is different for people. I plan on leaving the elastic or ribbon off and letting people order what they want and then asking for measurements from the tip of the nose to the middle of the ear hole to try and get it so it isn't too tight for them. Just was curious what others were doing! Love your masks, they are beautiful!
