The rope print dress is whimsical. The three dresses are pretty. Prettier than clothes on the racks at the stores.

Yeah, these repro patterns have been a bummer. I have that Vogue one with the Dior jacket. Praying that one is accurate.

It's a shame because you have to put in so much work!

Perhaps do both bodices out of solid oink to avoid the dart/patten issues then use each pattern d piece with perhaps a solid border on bottom for skirts. Those fabrics are amazing.

They are all so pretty, even the rope dress! I missed the fabric content of the solid pink dress. Thanks for the heads up on the Vogue pattern. I only know a few simple fitting tips from Palmer & Pletch and so I do a bit of pin fitting the pattern first to get an idea of how it fits. But this sizing is nice to know right out of the gate!

Thanks! All the fabrics are 100% cotton. If you're looking for an Audrey Hepburn-style vintage Vogue dress pattern, I recommend the V9187, it's an early 1960s top/bodice. I cropped it a little and used it as the bodice then added the skirt from V8789. It's a lovely dress.

so enjoying what you share. I have made the coat and dress with big pockets for Goodwood Revival here in England, out of a linen 1950 curtain, wish I could show you all! Must say "you are a cut above" ! I even make sure I watch the adverts hoping it helps xxx
