Let me know if you want a follow up discussing the ad account split-tests that I did to scale these numbers as well!

I’m 2+ months into organic (don’t shoot me) and I’m going to a/b test my offer once I get enough traffic. I’ve heard you say it so many times, but I just put it on my to do list today (REALISTIC IDEA TO ACTION TIMELINE👀😳). Keep on drilling this into our heads, almost no-one in organic talks about a/b split testing offers
@MomoAhmed-g5o20 күн бұрын
Trust me in the beginning you don’t need A/B testing. Just copy what’s works in the beginning with not enough traffic and a long time you can’t really know what’s works or not

Hey Ethan, lots of interesting information and useful material as well. My question is, where do you start with ads? Do you typically test out a product with some ads that you rip off, then go from there and contact different people to do testimonials or something similar?
@EthanDobbinsEcom22 күн бұрын
I start with a mix of ripped ads and also making my own ads from scratch after gathering clips and doing my own research. Usually I test with 12-16 ads, and 4 might be ripped
@redcallblue185021 күн бұрын
@@EthanDobbinsEcom Your ads made from scratch are from other creators or do you make your own? I once did a mashup of different clips and that had performed well, but the ROI just wasn't there. As of right now I'm trying to find some new products to try out, but it also seems fairly overwhelming the number of things that I have already seen sold in the past/useless products.

Is this something you're doing consistently even after you start scaling the product?

Always doing it every single week to make the business more profitable

Why do NO dropshipping youtubers talk about sales tax/VAT when talking about profit. Are you all not doing your taxes properly? Earn 100k revenue in a single year with a product and you're paying 20% of each sale to the government. If you're running a 20% profit margin, that has evaporated to 0 overnight.
@petrameltchenko882519 күн бұрын
bro; this is profit tax, not revenue tax; if you 20% profit of 100k and you pay 20%txx you pay only 4k tax, idk about vat in usa, depends on state/product
@TravelGlitch19 күн бұрын
@petrameltchenko8825 you're correct. But if you earn 100k, you have to pay the government 20% of ALL REVENUE generated. So 20k to the government. You're now left with 80k gross revenue, the 20k profit you once had is now 0. That's my point, many dropshippers don't realise that you can't get around this and offset expenses, as sales tax is final
@seahawks118518 күн бұрын
Wrong, you pay taxes on your NET profit, product cost, shipping all deducted, and at his level of income it's closer to 30% taxes plus state income tax if he lives in a state with income tax.
@TravelGlitch18 күн бұрын
@seahawks1185 wrong. Sales tax/VAT applies to revenue generated (if you sell a product for £100, you have to pay £20 of that to the government before any income tax is even considered) Your net profit is calculated after this deduction. You cannot write off expenses against sales tax.
@seahawks11859 күн бұрын
@@TravelGlitch lol, wtf is vat, this is the USA, and you are definitely confused, sales tax? Who said anything about sales tax. You get a standard deduction for sales tax vs your income unless you itemize sales tax paid for the year, I do my taxes year in year out for 20+ years making. So no i'm not wrong, you're, confused.
