This is so fun and creative!! I loved Eleanor Oliphant (not much romance going on though, it’s a bit dark and sad actually but really good) ❤️ June Farrow was great too! The time travel stuff thoroughly confused me but otherwise I loved it haha. And I really enjoyed Lovelight Farms and want to read In the Weeds as well! Spinning Silver has been intriguing to me too. Just as a fyi so you‘re prepared: eleanor oliphant is not a romance book! its more lit fic with tragic elements, so definitely a sad book! But its one of my favorites as well, you should pick it up, but I wanted to manage the expectations here 😂🥰

I use Bingo to pick my TBR as well! I already have an actual Bingo game, though, so I use the cage and balls and just use a number generator to know what number to put in the boxes. The colored boxes representing certain themes is a cute idea.

Spinning Silver is on my list for either February or March. I would definitely recommend reading Rumpelstiltskin first. I think you will get more out of it. Plus it is a very short fairy tale, so it won't take long at all. I am so excited about Spinning Silver because Rumpelstiltskin has been one of my two favorite fairy tales of all time since I was around four or five years old. Such a fun way to do a TBR! I enjoyed this!

Ali, I have some book recommendations! The Grimoire of Grave Fates (Standalone): A magical school murder mystery, each chapter is a new perspective (the murderer was someone I didnt expect at all)- 5 stars (maybe even 6 stars) Nightbirds (Duology): Three magical girls living in a world where magic is banned, three perspectives, plot twists- 5 stars (whole duology is a 4.5 stars for me) Also the second book is Fyrebirds I really hope you see this! These are some very underrated books that I love and deserve more hype.

I love the bingo idea! It’s such a fun way to choose your tbr. But I think what could make it better if you decide to use this bingo method again is instead of choosing to add all the books to your tbr, you keep pulling until you get an actual bingo. So you would have five books that came from those specific prompts (maybe a freebie if it was the free space) And since five books may not be enough, choosing two more books from the bingo board that you had already chosen.

I like second chance romance, but I always think there’s a big difference between cheating second chance which I absolutely hate, and the second chance where its like they were 16-17 in high school cause it was young puppy love and they both separate go to college or something and then they meet later on in their late 20s early 30s and find love again. I like that kind of second chance. i hate the cheating trope second chance like why are you giving them a second chance they CHEATED ON YOU!! To me that isnt second chance that’s just being dumb lol 😂. Like Authors can do a second chance without the whole they cheated on you or hurt you trope. It can just be like they went to separate colleges or something.
