Careful with the uncovered window. If there is direct sunlight on the dresses hug by the window, the colours could fade. That happened to a drape of mine that didn't have backing on it. The sun could damage those dresses.

Totally agreed with the chair…not only for the upholstery color that worked…it was also the chair being armless. You don’t need a chair with arms when putting on shoes and boots😉

Those gold rails are to die for 😍 If you wanted, in the future, you could put a thin line of gold leaf around the pink on the wardrobe doors. It would tie the wardrobe in with your pink, white and gold theme. You always have such interesting projects on the go 😉

One large mirror that would be about the size of that wall would be terrific! Not only could you check out how your outfits look, but a large mirror would reflect the light and make the closet seem larger!

I'm so glad the red floral chair made an appearance, it was meant in this room! Everything looks lovely, I love the gold rails. You need a long mirror in there for when you are trying things on. The swirly bit on the front top of your wardrobe could be painted pink to show it more. You have beautiful clothes

So cute, Elise! I love the color and I chose that same chair you did, mostly because I think it didn’t have arms. For myself, there are two critical things I need in my dressing area: REALLY good lighting, and a three-way mirror. I am Obsessed with the back view of my clothes (and hair)! I think this started when I was teaching and realized that my classroom was looking as much at my back when I was writing on the whiteboard as they looked at my front! And of course in bridal dresses the back is also an important view. When I got my first full-length tri-fold mirror (from a clothing store close-out of fixtures!), I was horrified to see how often a string was hanging off my hem or a back zipper puckered or my shoes needed to be re-heeled or whatever. And now I am always hunting for clothes that have super cute stuff going on in the backs. I bet you’d love to set up mirrors so that you can see your full-length back view!! XOjennyinseattle

It was great to watch. I too have a walk in closet now, it brings me such joy. My sis laughs at me that I have them color organized. I put nails in wall and hung all my necklaces up (I have hundreds, but I can see them clearly, and they don’t get tangled)

In walking closets windows r usually blacked out...ur clothes will get spoiled wer ever the natural sun light hits them and it will really show on the bright colours..also the watering of the plants will introduce moisture and mould to ur closet.
