Hello! Firstly the material I used is called worbla. I buy it online and have links of all materials in the description. Secondly I apologize for the top I chose to wear, I had no inappropriate intentions! I needed a small top like this to pattern over and mold the material to my body. Next time I’ll wear a bra 👍🏼 Also I didn’t know I was spelling feux wrong or using it incorrectly. I’ll fix that! Lastly instead of worbla you can use foam or leather but you will need to watch videos on how to use the material, mine is a worbla tutorial. Thank you!

girl, no need to apologize for your body. You are stunning and the top is fine, if viewers are mature enough to want to learn about cosplay I'm sure they are mature enough to accept female anatomy. Plus you and your body are beautiful! This tutorial was great and can't wait to try it!

For people who are curvier: you will likely need to add darts or make yours using 3 foam pieces. A front panel and two back panels is how I would do it, joining at side seams. For the wobla you could try using one piece and easing it into shape like with the breast cups. You could also cut darts into the side seam areas and pinch/pull it to shape then trim off the excess worbla while it is warm. The last option would be to cut out separate pieces of worbla and have full side seams. A trick to hide these seams would be to add faux boning strips of worbla or foam along the sides with matching boning along the edges and underbust. Make sure to add registration marks before you cut your tape/cellophane base pattern off. (I use perpendicular lines in a contrasting color ) so you can line up the darts/side seams easily and precisely. Weldwood Contact Adhesive is how I glue my craft foam together. You MUST have good ventilation when using this. Final suggestion for curvier peeps: instead of having it be one large piece you could have it be two or three that lace together via eyelets. Or velcro with tabs that overlap under the seams and are hidden by the boning. Suggestions for strengthening: IF you need it *really* strong, blue paper towels (the kind used in wood and metal shops) plus a woodglue/water mix (2:1 ratio) makes exceptional paper mache that's rock solid when dried. This will NOT be as smooth as just brushing on the glue. You could consider doing this on the inside of the breast cups. I'd consider adding thin felt for comfort/to protect any clothes. Sorry for the massive comment, this tutorial is a really good base explanation. I wanted to add more information so everyone can make such a cool corset!

I’ve always wanted to try this with découpage napkins, they’re so unbelievably beautiful. When I got into cosplay like 10 years ago I was in my big childhood bedroom, but I’m an adult now so I’ve been cooped up in these tiny apartments with no room for crafts (I’ve really tried, it’s not doable) I can’t wait to get out into a larger space so I can make millions of these and just wear them to the grocery store.

If you do this again. They make colored hot glue. You can get it in gold. Then base prime your entire project in white with spray. After that u can hot glue ur already gold filigree on (else spray it down with chrome gold if you want it shinier that the hot glue gold before sticking it on). Then paint your blue on and seal it all with a clear polyurethane finish. That way nothing rubs off while you wear it, especially from heat or water. Otherwise great job.
